I watched this with high expectations. But I ended up being disappointed.
You couldn't see the the thread running though the story.
I personally think that Song Hye Gyos should work on her acting skills. None the less, she is gorgeous.
Rain on the other hand was ok. You should watch "Sang-doo, let's go to school" if you want to witness his true acting skills.

The cast was one of the main reasons I continued to watch this show. I think Park Shin Hye is a great actor and it was nice to see her and Yong Hwa working together again. And the drummer from CNBlue, Kang Min Hyuk, as Joon Hee was cute (: The rest of the acting was well done, too.
The music was the other main reason for my continuing of the show. I loved all the songs and there wasn't a single one I disliked.
My rewatch value for this show is low because it didn't interest me as much as other shows have.
Overall: If I hadn't been watching it as it was airing I dunno how much difference it would've made. Maybe I'd have liked it a little more or maybe I'd be feeling glad it's over, the way I feel now that it's done. I gave this drama a 7 overall because of the cast and the music. I would say if you don't have anything else to watch I'd recommend watching this show, but it wasn't anything special to me

The end of the series is ok, though I supposed Yong could have met her mother before death...
Anyway, definately RECOMMEND!

Right off the bat I was enticed by the disclaimer,
"This drama is fictional. All resemblances to actual people, places or events are purely coincidental. Or you may choose to take this as purely a made up story or try to grasp an understanding of the darkness these days."
A simple but perfect set up for how brutal each episode is, not just the individual crimes but the overlaying story. Most drama's make a scene just brutal in its initial appearance. In Joker, where the first look at the murder victims might not be all that horrible, as they are carefully investigated you develop a deeper conviction that what they get - even though its not legal - is what they deserve. (Sort of brings out the worst in all of us, maybe.)
The cast is amazing. There's humor that fits in well with each characters lives, there's drama, and realistically dark content. If your not a seasoned murder detective drama watcher, you might get a little queasy. So be careful.
Finally I would like to make a point to say that, where this drama isn't unpredictable it does a great job at making you want to contradict your initial theories. Towards the end you will know what's coming BUT you will constantly try to talk yourself out of it.
So..."You want murder, destruction and revenge all tied in with remarkable characters and the barest traces of humor? Well, by golly, you've found your drama.. "

I enjoyed every episode. There were just 2 episode that were a little bit boring but the rest was absolutely awesome. The acting, OST, storyline, chemistry, everything was flawless.
The performances of the kids were great. It's hard to believe that this was Kang Chan Hee's debut (young Dong Joo). He was so natural in his acting.
I was surprised by Hwang Jung Eum. This actress would be a major reason to not watch this show. But I am glad that I decided to watch this. I really hated her in "Giant". Her acting was so annoying (facial expression, speech, everything). But that was not the case with "Can you hear my heart". She portrayed Bong Woo Ri well, so that I forgot that she is an actress I actually can't stand. She was so funny and adorable.
The bromance in this drama was funny. Kim Jae Won and Nam Goong Min sure have a great chemistry. I loved their relationship.
There are usually at least one character that I dislike in a Drama, because this character is annoying or whatever. But that's not the case here. Each character was well portrayed and you could see that each character was well developed.
This is indeed a masterpiece that I recommend to everyone who wants to watch a Drama which has a plot with a deep meaning.

Despite the slightly pallid storyline, the cast played their characters in the best way they could. Lee Gyu Won (Park Shin Hye) was an endearing but not over-the-top female lead that I feel most girls could relate to. Lee Shin (Jung Yong Hwa) was the same way. Their chemistry is unmistakable. The supporting cast was also very good. I just feel that if the storyline had been a bit better, more of the supporting characters could be explored and they would seem less one-dimensional.
As for the music-- I can't get it out of my head. The song choices are great and the cast is very musically talented.
I would rewatch this drama simply for the cute moments. Sadly, though, I can't say that it pulled very hard on my heartstrings (excuse the pun; I couldn't help it). Sweet moments are made sweeter when a long and difficult conflict had come before them.

Park Shi Hoo's performance in this is absolutely stunning. Words cannot begin to formulate how well he plays his role. At first i watched it as i would a normal Drama...check out the first episode see how things go from there; and as soon as i watched the first 20 minutes...i was captivated. Some may say i am overreacting, that it is not as good as i make out. Well, it's a matter of opinion at the end of the day, and me being ESPECIALLY fond of historical Drama's, find this to be an extremely grand surprise.
Anyone who is considering on watching "The Princess' Man", what is there to consider about? GO NOW! Watch. Enjoy.

The story was really good, I haven't read the original manga, but from the description of it, I guess there was a lot of change in it. Not only the setting, but also the relationships between the characters. I think this story was made for adults, rather than teens, and that hit the right spot. The links in the story came together as the drama progressed, it really came out great. 9/10
The cast was also good, I really liked Park Min Young and fell in love with Lee Min Ho, he's so handsome ;) I also really felt for Prosecuter Kim Young Joo (Lee Joon Hyuk). Because their acting was really good, the watcher feels the characters and experience the story with them. 10/10
The music, that's a different story. I liked the music, that's not the point, but I often felt the music was misplaced. Really, really often. Their were instrumentals used for suspense, but there was no action. There were also songs that were played with - this is how I feel - the wrong lyrics. Some of the songs were nice, other weren't. I have mixed feelings about the OST, but it went on my iPod anyway. I really do like Suddenly, by Kim Bo Kyung. Overall: 6/10.
I don't like re-watching, let me make this clear, but this drama, I would re-watch. Not for my own fun, but when a friends would ask me to watch City Hunter with him/ her, I would say 'Yes'. I do think you would be bothered by things you already know, but I always have that feeling, so yeah. 7/10.
Overall, I would give it a 9/10. Because I really enjoyed watching and that's the main thing. Enjoy!
