Story: This drama centers around the honor of old samurai families. The way the families were presented gave off more of a Yakuza vibe, but that was one of the things that drew me in. There is an unfortunate love triangle that just KILLS me because we really didn't need that. It was just... sad and heartbreaking.
Acting/Cast:The good characters were angels and the bad characters were downright unforgivable. Aiko was TOO much! But, like any good 'villain,' the plot line would have been so boring and gone nowhere without her. And, even though I went into this drama really interested in the main couple (Seiko and Takeshi) the supporting couple (Mayumi and Ryu) were solid too. (Glad they'll be focused on in the sequel)
Music: Good. Whenever a drama's OST allows me to recognize the drama instantly, I can't really hate it too much.
Rewatch Value: No. Although I love watching Lakorns, the 2 hour runtime is a bit much to sit through the first time around, let alone a second time when I know exactly what is going to happen and when. Especially when it comes to the ending that only wrapped up for our main couple in a happy ending. Most everyone else got a bad ending, and anticlimactic ending or no ending at all. I'll give the writer/director/etc the benefit of the doubt that it was left like it was in hopes that the sequel would cover some.
Overall: I'd recommend it. This isn't something that is easily marathoned like other dramas. As I've said the runtime is a bit much for casual interest. But if you're interested in dipping your toe into the Lakorn pool, this isn't a bad place to start.

WATCH ROY RAK! IT'S A GREAT DRAMA.
STORY - I think the story line is so good. It's definitely better than Roy Fun Tawan Duerd. I love Mario and Taew's cuteness! They are a calm couple. They don't bicker at each other, they don't fight because they love and TRUST each other. The only problems are what is happening around them. Such as family issues and Aiko. They are such a cute and calm couple. A little romantic too! I enjoyed the story a lot.ACTING - Mario, Taew, and the other actors did a great job acting. I love Mario's fierce character. and I love Taew's ladylike, gentle character. I think Aiko's strong, mean character is good too. she is a good actress! I love Taro as well. He is one of my favorites! Let us not forget about Nadech and Yaya. I liked them way better in this part than their own part. I love it every time they bicker. They are a cute couple too, but I like Takeshi and Seiko better.
MUSIC - The music is amazing. It is pretty catchy. I would say the music in Roy Fun Tawan Duerd is more catchy than in Roy Rak Hak Liam Tawan. Roy Rak's songs are still good though!
REWATCH - I would not necessarily rewatch this because it can get confusing. It is not so easy of a story line. I think if you rewatch it, your mind will get kind of stuck at the story line even though you've already watched it. I think it is kind of boring and you should only rewatch your favorite scenes. This drama is also NOT DRAGGY AT ALL. I think it has a perfect speed!
OVERALL - 8.5!!!!! I think this is a great drama and YOU ALL should definitely watch this. Don't SKIP this part of the series to go to NY. I think this part is just as fun and important as Roy Fun. :) I love Takeshi and Seiko or Tawan and Praewdao ❤
