Like Love (2014)

There are many similarities, such as there is a quirky theme that is found in both pieces. Albeit one is more mature, but the core is very similar. They are both about male leads finding themselves in each other and growing together.

In both pieces, the male leads did not realise the growing feelings until jealousy ensued.

There are fake relationships in both pieces and have similar obstacles which if stated would be a spoiler.

There is something special in both pieces that while they may be viewed as low budget and have many disadvantages, they both still work and deliver a sweet story of finding oneself and love.

I have been looking for a as good as Tharntype for ages but none came near. However I finally found it. This show is as good as Tharntype. The acting, the chemistry, the fact that the couple is in a relationship throughout the series instead of all the angst other shows put us through to get the couple together, this show is just incredible.

Both dramas are based on BL novels and have some similar characters and tropes

They are equally horrible. The uke is portrayed as weak and awkward, does not have a backbone and the seme acts superior and arrogant and manipulates the uke most of the time. If you have bad taste, you'll definitely enjoy both of them.

Starts off as a lot of teasing and annoying each other but they fall in love. Male lead is a little more aggressive and other dramas have some sexy scenes

A bit funnier, but with dark themes similar to Addicted Heroin (also Chinese cultural references). The weight of family is heavy...also have explicit content and themes.
