Same writer and emits similar vibes.

Yong Pal has strong "Sleeping Beauty" vibes while The K2 is based off of "Snow White."

Both has near perfect characterizations of the male lead.

Lots of political intrigue and strange psycho characters.

Both are medical dramas in which the main character is a genius surgeon and treats gangsters to earn more money
While doctor stranger is about a north korean defector and his love interest, yong pal focuses on the difference between rich and poor and intrigue.

They are both very similar in which the mcs is a Chaebol's daughter and a doctor. Although in Innocent Man, Joongki is not a doctor yet.

Both of the male leads helped the female lead to get back what is rightfully theirs, their company. And they both became/want to become a doctor in order to heal their sister.
Both of the female leads can be considered strong characters as they are ruthless when running their company.

Overall there are many similarities between the characters in Yong Pal and Innocent Man.

Both dramas are about young skilled surgeons who treat gangsters/criminals illegally and keep it a secret. They both started to work for those patients because they're in need for money to heal a relative.

Medical dramas. Both about doctors who risk everything to save their patients despite opposition from others. Both feature surgery scenes too. Both doctors persevere against all opposition.

They both have Joo Won as a main lead. Both are action dramas. In both dramas Joo Won's character is kind of an underdog.

Both leads gets entrapped between a bunch of dangerous powerful people and has to get out of their situation while simultaneously trying to fulfill their goals.

They both have badass male protagonists who fall in love while on a mission. The female protagonists are strong-willed and likable. Yong Pal has less action and more melo, but they're both amazing.

For me healer is 1st, city hunter is 2nd, Yong pal is definitely the 3rd. All the them male characters has double identity, all of them has action scene, all of them has loving a girl, yong pal has little difference from two of them, so just go watch it and find out the difference

They are both intriguing and worth watching... if you liked one then you should definitely have a go at watching the other
