I think the middle of the drama was useless and a waste of time. In my opinion, you only need to watch the first one or two episodes then skip to the last few episodes which has Tao Heng (Na Zha) in it. Her part with Liu Zhang Yan is so cute and funny, which I think is probably the only moments worth watching in the entire drama.
It was a pretty average drama. Out of all the fantasy dramas including fox spirits, this drama isn't that great, but not bad enough to consider terrible. Honesty I probably will never rewatch it, or at least not all the episodes. So if you're interested in watching and get bored after watching the first 5-10 episodes skip to the last story (episode 27) of the drama.

I wouldn't really want to watch the full series but I stuck it out. I feel like you only really need to watch the first few episodes and the last few episodes and just skip the middle part entirely!

Worth a watch if you skip some story lines.
I found the series watchable and enjoyed several of the story lines. I agree with reviewer Sienna that it's worth watching story lines 1 & 2 and then skipping to story lines 5 & 6. I found story line 3 a little boring and repetitive, although the characters were likeable. Story line 4 was just too boring and repetitive; thus, I fast forwarded entire chunks of the story to get through it. If you skip episodes 3 & 4, then the series deserves an 8 rating. If you include the "skip" episodes, then I think the series averages out to a 6. Even the likeable Chen Ruo Xuan from Novoland Eagle Flag can't save episode 4. My suggestion is to give this series a try and see if it's a hit with the usual themes and stories with with you are engaged.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
