Doctors (2016)

I think the characters come from a little bit similar places. Both of them closing of their hearts after having their fair shares of bad past. Doctor stranger has more action aspects to it I guess. Both of the series take places in the hospital.

Both dramas are about doctors, and saving people. Doctor John is about a man named Cha Yo han (John) who was sent to prison for a punishment. One of the guards niece (Kang Shi-young) is used to be a doctor who came to the prison because the former prison doctor had quit. After John gets releases, he becomes a professor at the hospital where Shi-young works and also the hospital where her father is laying down trying to recover from a former hiking accident. Doctor Yohan is an extremely talented doctor who can figure out what is wrong with the patient within seconds. As Kang Shi-Young and Cha Yo-han are both talented, they are also trying to move on from their dark past.

Both dramas have similar feels when in the hospital setting, but Doctors is lighter in tone. Romantic Doctor Kim is much heavier and a bit darker in tone and Doctors spends a lot more time building up to the history of the characters.

- Both are medical dramas
- Doctors is more focused on the romance element and the developed of the characters from high school to work whilst Doctor John is more about the medical aspect and euthanasia with the romance as a background.

Both medical dramas. Both involves doctors who'd rather save lives rather than being a doctor just for the money. Similar plot.

it's about relationship of high school teacher & student and they meet again a few year later as adult

Although "Doctors" is a older korean drama, it has similarities:

- both leads are neurosurgeons who meet again as fellow & department head after many years
- before they used to be student & lecturer
- age gap + height difference
- leads are adults (30+)

Doctors has more medical focus and shows surgery. It also has a kickass FL and a ML who is flirty and persues the FL right away after their reunion.

Both are about doctors who lernt this profession when thinking of understanding a medical error of the past and who are going to certains hospital when hoping to discover information. Both have romance aspect and difficulty between differents doctors and hospital director. It's seems like there is an interesting but complex plot for surgeons but the 2 dramas looks like they are nearly about the same type of stories. Maybe less about romance for surgeons and with a different type of surgery than in doctors.

Here too the main leads meets as a teacher student. They'll face the somewhat similar difficulties. Though in doctors it's for a short span and later evolves as doctors. But still the initial sweetness and friendship between the leads is worth watching in doctors.

>Both dramas have memories of the older guy and the younger girl sharing time when the girl was still a student and then they get separated for some reason, and then see each other again when they are adults, or in particular, when the girl is now an adult and can be of dating age.

>Both male leads did not waste time to pursue the girl this time because it was the proper time to do so, not when the girl is young and that would be illegal anyways.

>Both dramas had sweet and cute moments between the leads. So much chemistry and giddiness with both couples.

>Only difference is that in Doctors, the setting is medical and they become colleagues at work. In Hidden Love, they are not, but still in the same city and see each other regularly and has good feelings toward each other.

I honestly will recommend it if you are looking for other medical/ hospital/ doctor stories. also mentioning that Doctors are more romantic than Doctor Cha as I guess. They do have similarities too, such as:
- both about doctor's life in hospitals.
- both have love triangle relationships.
personally, I liked Doctor Cha from the first two episodes because of the story.

The series revolves around the thoracic surgery department of a hospital.

Jiao Jia Ren and her colleagues Deng Ziang, Gu Jia Ren, and Wang Hang goes through many challenges. They not only have to fight the disease on the front line of the clinic, but also face various difficulties in life. They learn and mature and grow into competent specialists to protect and serve children wholeheartedly.

In terms of Badass female leads that don't take trash from people. In Doctors we had Yoo Hye Jung and in Search: WWW, we have three.

Similar in a way because both are in the medical field...and both "met" again after a long period of time...somewhat similar...but the only difference is that the FL in Koi wa Tsuzuku...is the one in love with the ML; while in Doctors, its the other way around...
