The Promise (2016)

I’m pretty sure that they got the whole script of Second Husband from the 2016 Korean drama The Promise.
I will go as far as to say it’s a remake.
They’ve changed just a few crucial details but it follows the exact same plot.
- Both FL fell in love young and in that long relationship had a child
- Both FL were cheated on and left by the SML for a rich heiress
-Both lost someone they loved during the breakup that launched them into the revenge act
-Both FL are lost daughters & both born from a rich parent who doesn’t know of their relationship
-Both MLs are family members of the FL’s enemies
-Both SML mothers are annoying & obsessed with money
-Both MLs help the FLs knowing about their revenge

Out of the 2 I would say I preferred the SH since it didn’t go as dark as TP & although both FL are frustrating in the process of their revenge I liked that SH Main couple wasn’t as hopeless as TP

Lee Na Yeon is made an orphan when chaebol heiress, Park Yu Gyeong, causes the death of her mother, Lee Yu Nae, in a traffic accident. Yu Nae and Yu Gyeong had been rivals in love for the same man, Jang Gyeong Wan, with Yu Gyeong ensnaring him into marriage by claiming the child she is carrying is his. However, he cheats on her for his own success and goes with Se Jin.

Both are revenge melodramas about a woman whose partner cheated on and married a wealthy woman. The female lead then falls in love with a family member of the villain. There are birth secrets and lots of scheming.

both have birth's secret, and are about revenge.
It is airing right now but to my mind it is quite good. The two main actresses suits perfectly to their role.

Both are 100+ episode revenge dramas. Plots are similar: death of a child, crazy boyfriend stealing second female lead, etc.

They have similar storylines.

Both have devoting wife. Loves their husband. Their husband meets another lady(in promise it's a rich lady).

Both couple in the drama have a young daughter. Both female lead have a another guy who likes them and wants to help them.

Both dramas that had betrayed their girlfriend have trouble relationships with the woman they chose to be with and end up running to the main female because they realise their love for them.

Both seek revenge
I watched both but fell in love with 'The promise' Because it's detailed.

The promise is a daily drama that consist of 102 episodes whereas the other one has less episodes and isn't a daily drama.

TV news anchorwoman, popular actress, lawmaker's wife, switch bodies, care about herself, taking care of family.

Both involve married couple and husband cheating on the wife by leaving the spouse for a rich girl who started the seduction from her side first.

both are Revenge-Dramas with more than 50 episodes. Both follow a woman who is somehow naive in the beginning and turns out to take revenge on the people who hurt her later. But in Heaven's Promise much more people die. Both worth watching it!

There's nothing new recently in morning daily dramas, this drama is similar to the drama 'Good For You' (You're Great, Really! / Jalnasseo Jeongmal!) in every detail, check them out. Well, I'm just looking forward to Yoo Ri's performance, she knows how to play as an angel & a devil very well!

It has a Veryx100 similar plot and any person who has watched 'the promise' would straight away realise the similarities between the two dramas.

3.get betrayed by boyfriend who chooses another women with the intention of becoming successful

5.revenge begins ,to take down the whole family and take over the business.

both have the same female lead actress and involve an intense revenge story. The evil psychopath of a protagonist (a.k.a. second female lead) destroys the female leads life in her selfish greed and both dramas involve some serious husband/boyfriend snatching and hidden birth secrets. Both dramas are very similar and equally intense providing one very satisfying revenge story

What made The Promise and Queen of Ambition similar is that

-the main characters' lovers left them and their children for them to marry into a wealthy family.

-They ended up as a single mother/single father.

-Both main characters supported the study of their lover but they ended up betrayed by their lover.

-The main characters' have twin siblings and they have mistook them as the main characters and was killed by accident or murder.

-The main character chose to pretend as their sibling and to avenge their siblings' death and their goal is to revenge on the person responsible for their siblings' death.

-Both the main characters have their children killed also.

-The main characters' character development is really good.

-Both dramas are good makjang

both involve a main female lead who sets out for revenge against the people who have wronged her. Both have intelligent and awesome main female leads who know exactly how to step on the throats of the ones who wronged them. They also both involve a rich family that have something to do with the main female lead and is about how the main girl fights back to reclaim what is rightfully hers.

Both are 100+ episode revenge dramas. Plots are similar: death of a child, stealing of husbands/boyfriends, etc.
