omg

The thing about this episode is that pretty much everything that has happened in that was expected to happen. For example I wasn't surprised that Chul learned about the fictional world he lived in or that he entered the real world. That was eventually to happen. But the thing that DID surprise me is how all of this was delivered. The way the actors and actresses their emotions and how they played their roles was excellent. Also I love how Chul seems like a 3D character in a 2D world with 2D people. There's more depth to his character. And his awareness of his surroundings and the things happening in his (fictional) world made this episode special.

Things that I enjoyed in this episode were that Soo Bong is on Yeon Joo's side and that he's believing her. I also loved So Hee in this episode, even though she worked against Yeon Joo, because in her book it was the right thing to do. She is a 2D character and her personality is fixed. It can't be changed the way Chul's personality can be changed, because she lacks the awareness that he possesses. That's why it would have been wrong if she acted any other way than she did. Everything else would be not true to her character and the way she was written.
Another thing that I liked is that Chul is now in the real world and I guess he's now out there seeking for revenge. He wants revenge for his messed up life and the murder of his family. It's somehow like a self-fulfilling prophecy: The thing that writer Oh was most afraid of - being killed by Chul - might come true now. This would never have happened, if he wasn't afraid of something that might've never happened. I actually still am wondering why he felt so threatened by Chul. Is it because Chul seemed to develop a consciousness and an awareness outside of what he wrote him to be? Or did he feel guilty that he killed Chul's parents for no apparent reason? Does he feel like a murderer? Is he afraid of the consequences of his deeds? I wonder what it is and I can't find out what motivated him to act the way he did.
Chul got a lot of his questions answered. Now it's our turn to get enlightened a little bit more and I'm so excited for the answers that we'll get! I hope we won't be disappointed.

Absolutely Beautiful

I'M SO HYPED, this is like a movie. They've put so much into this drama, from a fantastic cast, to the mood-setting soundtrack, stunning art, and the plot is EPIC. Like just WOW. When I first read the synopsis I didn't know what to expect, either a huge flop or something that is gonna get greater recognition then even You who came from the stars, and I feel like this is definitely on one of those grand scales. You know when someone says you have to watch 3 episodes to know whether something is worth watching. Well I knew from the first that I was going to be hooked, however the third episode had me literally curled up in a ball waiting for the next episode to come out because I was immobile with excitement. And I wasn't disappointed, this was an episode worth freaking out about. Lee Jong Suk has always been a great actor (I feel like he's always been in great dramas) but this is the icing on the cake. Shit got real here. It went all matrix on him and he decided to neo-the-fuck out of that world. Like uggggh

God I'm not even sure if this review is even intelligible. The point is this episode was great Han Hyo Joo is the best female lead for this role, I've thoroughly enjoyed watching her, their romantic chemistry is on point, I don't feel like anything is forced. I have just completely fallen in love for this drama.

well teehee
Hope you enjoyed this freak out ~~

look closely

i'm so impressed with the art direction on this show. if you're a fan of manga/manhwa and you have a keen eye you will notice that the world of W has a very graphic quality. everything from location to set design and wardrobe and lighting calls to mind the visual pop or those art forms without being in your face about it. The "real" world on the other hand goes out of it's way to be organic and ordinary. it's a subtle bit of genius that makes this show such a fantastic watch and is heavily prevalent in this episode.

pacing took a bit of a hit in this episode but left no more than a small ding in the overall awesomeness that is W.

we're starting to see Kang Chul's personality. he is confident without being cocky and keeps a cool head in stressful situations. i like watching him become a person and not just another stock photo CEO type.

our leading lady is still amazing.

five more days???? i don't think i can make it.
