Hwang Min Hyun is dedicated to protecting his 'Study Group' at all costs
The upcoming historical K-drama Slowly and Intensely featuring actors Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo, has reportedly begun filming.
According to an exclusive report by Star News, the drama Slowly and Intensely started filming on January 12, marking the official beginning of production.
Set against the backdrop of the broadcasting industry in the 1960s and 1970s, the K-drama tells the story of stars on stage and the people who make those stars.
The K-drama is being directed by Cheese in the Trap and Coffee Prince's Lee Yoon Jung. Notably, this drama reunites Song Hye Kyo with Noh Hee Kyung for the third time following The World That They Live In (2008) and That Winter, the Wind Blows (2013).
The drama is also garnering significant attention as it brings together two of the biggest Hallyu stars, Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo.
Recently, Song Hye Kyo came to the YouTube channel Fairy Jae Hyung and revealed the reason for cutting her hair short: "I cut my hair for my next project, which is a period drama written by Noh Hee Kyung."
Slowly and Intensely is a joint production by Studio Dragon and GTist. Although initially reported as a Netflix original, Netflix clarified to Star News that "nothing has been confirmed yet."
