Guilty is definitely one of my favorites Japanese dramas from 2010. The acting was superb especially Kanno Miho's performance. The soundtrack was amazing with tracks by The New Classics and JUJU! The show is layered with suspense and mystery that continue to pile upon each other until the last episode. The plot is intriguing; leaving the viewers wondering what will happen next. Unfortunately, the screenwriter failed to have enough foreshadowing for viewers to see who caused the false charge to fall upon Meiko and there were spots of plot holes here and there. For romance fanatics like myself, there is a side dish of it. Overall, this is a must watch for mystery and suspense lovers and fans of Kanno Miho.

What money and power will do to a person! The absolutely depravity of the rich and power was amazingly told in this drama. This is a drama for those who like crime and police type dramas. To see what Meiko endured in losing her family as well as going to prison for killing them was unbelievable. Mashima tried his hardest to protect a woman he knew was guilty but he also recognized that the events were set in motion by a falsehood. This was truly an amazing story about revenge. And this was my very first Japanese revenge drama. From start to finish, I was riveted to the story. I couldn't imagine what could possibly be the reason why her family was killed. When you see the reason at the end, you will be shocked. Bittersweet ending but after you watch the 11 episodes, it could not have ended any other way. EXCELLENT!!

Story- filled with mystery and suspense with a little romance thrown in. pretty much each episode unfolds the female leads past and she carries out her plot for revenge on those who framed her. There\''\''s a twist thrown in last minute which was kind of odd. The end is beautiful but tragic. I like that the drama plays out like an extended movie.

Acting/Cast- The leads are terrific and have amazing chemistry. Tamaki Hiroshi was super believable in his tortured soul role. Such a change from Nodame Cantabile. this was my first time seeing Kanno Miho. She really played her role perfectly. She was sweet at times and scary at the same time. The supporting cast really acted thier parts well also.

Music- Had a really great OST that added to the scenes.

REwatch- Because there is a lot of suspense involved it would be hard to rewatch it again cause most of the magic is gone since you know how things turn out.

Overall- Brilliant suspense romance that keeps you on your toes and it really is an addicting drama that you have to watch!

Очень тяжелый сериал, психологически. История про хорошо продуманную месть маленького человека, женщины, невинно отсидевшей 15 лет. Она ничего и никого не забыла и решила не прощать. Но как в поговорке - при мести ройте две могилы, и хэ тут изначально не стояло. Это сразу была история самоубийства, тем и тяжело.
Все остальное было очень удачно - актеры на главных и второстепенных ролях, музыка, операторская работа. Актеры вообще либо очень красивый, либо уродливые - третьего не дано. Но визуальный оргазм гарантирован.

Some good actors in it but I just wasn't captivated.

I couldn't tell if she was actually a shy, nice timid person or not because she was so evil with those she went after so it's like are you multiple personality or what? Which is the real you?! So I didn't like her at all.

The upside was the romance though.
Ending was... pappy though.
