New Trial (2017)

Both movies are based on true stories, and while in the Juror 8 it's the effort of the jurists, in New Trial it's about the story of the appointed lawyer for the re-trial case.

Both movies involve corrupt people in positions of power torturing a man into giving a false confession. Both are based on a true story.

I don't know where "one ordinary day" is going as it's ep.3 today, but it has good common points with the movie "The trial" :
- a young nice guy accused from murder
- a quick (and wrongful) sentencing leading him to jail
- a clumsy lawyer who fights for good and bad reasons, to innocent him

Both movies has a young person in jail. The court, the attorneys, the witnesses and the prosecutor arguing in court around this young person. Both are good movies.

Innocent men are subjected to physical abuse and torture by police in order to force a false confession.

Both movies are about innocent men stuck in jail with bleak odds of proving they didn't do the crime they're being charged with.
