A good starting to a wonderful series

We are introduced to Cao Cao, one of the main characters of this series. Cao Cao is shown here as someone who is willing to lay down his life for the sake of the greater good. From the start, we know he is likely to be a major character as much screen time is given him from the first episode. He tried to assassinate Dong Zhuo but failed and we grieved with his failure and worried for his safety. Episode 1 ends with Cao Cao trying to evade capture and we are left to fear for his safety.

great first episode

I've been meaning to watch this drama for a while and I'm quite hyped by the first episode. If I say it seems promising, it's saying too little. I already like Cao Cao; from the first glance, you can tell that his ambition will drive him to great lengths.
