So this movie is adapted from the manga of the same name and i absolutely love that manga
it is like a breath of fresh air from the most of the serious drama's out there
So,the movie starts with Sugihara Kohei, a college student who has distanced himself from others unconsciously because he is hard of hearing
The one thing that the film touches upon and I find quite good is that Disabled people also deserve to be treated normally like others and do not want any kind of special treatment
The actors did a good job especially Tawada Hideya-the person who played the role of Sugihara Kohei
also they did not distort the manga at all so that is quite a positive point
also altho i liked it but i don't think that it is a movie you can't watch more than once
so it does deserves to be watched at least once if you are into BL's and stuff
I'll leave the links of the manga and the movie below so do make sure to give it a try!
thank you

Absolutely beautiful
This movie is now one of my favorites! It was perfect, beautiful, heartwarming, and I absolutely loved it! The story was so unique and sweet. The actors were very cute, not only in their appearances, but in their performances as well. The story was beautifully told. Kohei’s struggles, and deep despair over his hearing loss, was absolutely heartbreaking to watch. I loved how supportive and caring Taiichi was towards Kohei, even sticking up for him multiple times to other people who made fun of Kohei behind his back. Their budding relationship was so sweet and wonderful to watch. Definitely a lot of “Awe!!” moments. This movie is so sweet, and beautiful, and again, perfect! I loved it! I definitely recommend watching this as a BL fan!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

The cinematography was really good, in my opinion. Even the title fits the whole rainy atmosphere somehow.
A rather short movie but I certainly don't regret watching it!

it shows how without social gender categorys one person can fall in love if that person really care for u ,understand and take the life problems as a first hand experience not a problem ......i m straight ahha but if a girl who really cares for me be with me in my good or bad time i may be i may be !!!! may be yes fall in love with her ..many people doesnt get in love becoz of smartness, looks ,personality different people may think diffrent and take things perception in diffrnt ways ...so i think falling in love without gender or sexual oriantion must nott be big issue in our society ...we all r humans .we love nature society family cat dogs so y not we can love same gender ...just becoz they were unable to proceed their offsprings .....? i donot know man its debatble topic btwn wide thinkers and narrow thinkers , society and religion, politics and people.
i love bl movie or anyother movies like this

what can I say, this line has a deep effect on me. i really can relate to what Kohei feels.
the first part of the story is a bit dragging but as the story continues I truly can relate to Kohei, i mean his feeling of isolation because not everyone can understand inability to hear properly. his condition is really not easy, people tend to criticize people with inability to hear properly because some people are really hard to hear. but it is nice to have someone who is patient enough to understand the situation, someone who will keep trying and seeing the good in you rather than seeing the inability to hear. some people would not understand the shame of wearing a hearing aid. people will be ashamed of having you around because they don't want to repeat what they said.
but at least Kohei still has Taiichi.
over all this story is quite touching and an eye opener for the public to understand people with inability to hear properly (I won't call it it a disability because it's really not)

A beautiful story
Wow what a beautiful movie. Saw the ad on Utube and when i came here it was on my list to watch and so happy that i did. The cast & crew did an amazing job on this movie as it was beautiful done. Being a young guy in school and waking up after a cold /fever and not being able to hear is a scary thing. I can relate my younger brother was 17 when he got sick with a high fever at first he didnt tell us cause he thought his ear was clogged, but turned out he lost 80% hearing in right ear a 25% in left. He acted just like Kohei distancing himself from friends, but they wouldn't let him give up on himself or them. He's 56 now and still doing good. This movie did a beautiful job showing how if people just took the time to understand a person and what they needed rather than assuming thats sign language was the answer. Tachaii friendship with kohei started off due to hunger then taking noted and then a protector. It developes into a one sided love nonetheless a friendship continues or more???
Best line ever " Its not your fault that you cant hear" So true

Too Precious!
This movie is so serene, calming, and such a cute watch. Though it's short, it is very sweet and meaningful!I'll definitely watch it again.
Many might not share the same opinion as me, because the story is indeed a bit cliche, but it's way too cute and adorable. Definitely worth a watch in my opinion.
It has elements of shounen-ai, but a ton of message with regards to friendship. If you are bored and are looking for something to pass time with, or if you are looking for something that's simple, then do check this out!

A film that leaves BL lovers with a bad taste in their mouths.
Teen films are always a good idea. Portraits of a generation are like fascinating stories that allow us to understand the unique characteristics and experiences of those who make it up in a specific era. The transition from adolescence to adulthood, known as "coming of age", is presented differently depending on the cultural and temporal context in which it is situated. Furthermore, maturity is not reached in the same way for everyone and it is these stories that increasingly interest the public because they allow us to analyze society and also ourselves a little.Kamijo Daisuke, in his directorial debut, is responsible for the film proposal 'Hidamari ga Kikoeru' (ひだまりが聴こえる), from 2017, the real-time adaptation of the shōnen-ai genre manga of the same name written and illustrated by Yūki Fumino, a mangaka who began her professional career in 2013. With her delicate and poetic style, her work was published for the first time on October 27, 2014 by Printemps Shuppan.
The script is written by Takahashi Natsuko, known for writing the series 'Hana Yori Dango' and the films 'No Touching At All' ('Doushitemo Furetakunai'), 'Seven Days: Monday - Thursday', 'Seven Days: Friday - Sunday', 'Does the Flower Bloom?', among others.
The plot of this romantic drama of the youth, school and Yaoi genre begins by narrating the difficulties that Kōhei Sugihara has hearing, since the current university student had suffered from a sudden sensorineural hearing loss during high school. Circumstances have led him to become a lonely, distrustful, introverted, unsociable and distant young man with great difficulties relating to other people. He himself admits to feeling "out of place wherever he goes."
Thus, Kamijo Daisuke presents us with a love story between two teenagers of the same gender, and analyzes the problems that the world can pose for a person with hearing problems.
Kōhei's entire life changes when he accidentally meets Taichi Sagawa, who offers to take notes in classes for him in exchange for the lunch that the disabled student gives him every day. Kōhei will soon discover that he can hear the loud voice of the new acquaintance without difficulty.
This is how a friendship develops between a boy who had always had problems socializing, because his hearing problems caused him to be marginalized by his classmates, and another cheerful, optimistic, determined and empathetic, energetic boy and extrovert who lives practically in poverty, needing to work while attending university in order to survive. Both will help each other and, little by little, they will give in to their feelings, unleashing a beautiful story of friendship and love.
Taichi will make Kōhei open up to the world once he assures him that his hearing loss is not his fault. Taichi's kind words pierce through Kohei's usual defense mechanisms and open his heart, causing his feelings for Taichi to turn into love. Now they are more than friends and less than lovers. Still, this relationship changes Kohei forever.
Thanks to Taichi, Kōhei begins to smile and integrate into the social life of the campus. Others also begin to see him with different eyes. Taichi becomes the friend he never had or perhaps lost when he lost his hearing and was ostracized. Taichi teaches him "that there may also be a place for him on the other side."
Taichi and Kōhei challenge gender norms on a journey of self-discovery. His story takes us into themes such as the search, the formation of identity, personal growth and the transition to adulthood. But it also addresses feelings such as loneliness, happiness, marginalization or improvement.
It is not a simple love story between two teenagers, but rather it represents the problems that can arise in a romantic relationship when one of the two members of the relationship has a hearing disability. Thus, beyond a standard love theme, 'Hidamari ga Kikoeru' is a call to eradicate the mistreatment and discrimination that society carries out on minority groups, be it the disabled or the members of the group. LGBTIQ+.
In this way, the film becomes a manifesto to demand the equality of all human beings. Being different, something highly punished in Japan, should not be seen as something bad, but rather should be integrated into society until, one day, there is no discrimination of any kind for the mere fact of being different from others.
The main roles of the film distributed by Nippon Shuppan Hanbai are played by Hideya Tawada and Akira Onodera as Kōhei and Taichi, respectively. The former is known for his role as Takigawa Kinji in the series 'Shuriken Sentai Ninninger' and in the films 'Shuriken Sentai Ninninger the Movie: The Dinosaur Lord's Splendid Ninja Scroll!', from 2015, 'Shuriken Sentai Ninninger vs. ToQGer the Movie: Ninjas in Wonderland', from 2016, among others.
For his part, Onodera Akira has his first leading role in Taichi, after playing the character Amamiya Masaki [Young] in 'High&Low: The Red Rain', Inukai Manabu [Classmate] in 'Daytime Shooting Star' or Sakamata Kiyone [Mysterious teenage boy] in the series 'Rinsho Hanzai Gakusha Himura Hideo no Suiri'.
The cast is completed by Mitsuya Ryo as Yokoyama Tomonori, Takashima Reiko as Sugihara Ryoko, Yamazaki Ami, Igeta Hiroe, Fukumoto Yuki, Hiranuma Norihisa, Nakamaru Shinsho.
The ending of the film is to be regretted. Although the development of the plot is very similar to the story created by Yūki Fumino, its closure has nothing to do with the original. Instead of the magical and emotional ending of the manga, the one in the film directed by Kamijo Daisuke leaves BL lovers with a bad taste in their mouths.
