Excellent sword fighting. Great cast. Seung Ho, my favorite. His story so tragic. A bad boy, who walks a fine line.

The Anti Climax

They should have ended the series with ep 28 instead of leaving us with such a dis-satifactory ending in ep 29. Basically, the only event happening in this episode is killing off Yeo Woon, followed by sudden focus on romances to give the "happily ever after" feel. And it just feels ridiculous, because the pain of Yeo Woon is still so fresh on our minds, How can the characters be so joyful and go on as if everything is perfect?

I had read beforehand that Yeo Woon will be killed off in the last episode, and though I wasn't the biggest Yeo Woon fan throughout, by the end of Ep 28 I was dreading it and I put off watching the last episode as much as I could. When I did watch it, I really don't know what to think.

Why would any one want to chop off a main lead character using other main characters in the very last bit of the drama? Why were so many misunderstandings placed NOW?

Here's what the last episode left me with:
-Feeling sorry and sad for Yeo Woon, for having to live such an unlucky and hard life, and being misunderstood on top of that.
-Angry at Cho Rip. Was there always such a selfish person under the timid face?
-Dissatisfied with Prince Heir. When did he become so revengeful?
-A bit irked at Dong Soo. After everything, does he still doubt Yeo Woon's intentions?
-And most importantly, What about ALL the talk about making your own destiny. Why does it not work for Yeo Woon alone??

To reiterate, I think - it was a very unnecessary killing of a character who had been developed thus far as strongly as Dong Soo.
Nothing that happens in the final episode is necessary or adds anything to the characters. If you wish to leave the drama on a positive note, better to leave it at ep 28.
