Season: 1

Scholarship student Haruhi Fujioka arrives at the elite private school Ouran Academy where she is mistaken for a male due to her boyish appearance and deeper-than-usual-for-a-girl voice. Haruhi stumbles upon the Host Club (in Music Room 3) while looking for a quiet place to study and, while trying to escape, accidentally breaks a vase costing eight million yen. To pay off the debt, Haruhi is forced to become a "dog" for the club and work off "his" debt. After awhile, the hosts realize Haruhi's potential as a host and change his means of repayment from errand boy to a Host-in-Training who must obtain one hundred "requests" from customers. Haruhi gets bullied by Princess Ayanokoji, one of Tamaki's jealous customers, which the host member help her to resolve. Tamaki discovers Haruhi true gener, which turns out he is the only one who doesn't know.

First Impression

So funny especially the ending where they do find the wallet and Tamaki was the only one that didn't know Haruhi was a girl.
I also really like the guy with the Ipad. He takes pictures of everything.

Exaggerated XD

So... I realize I probably won't enjoy this drama much because I've seen the anime before and now I CAN'T stop comparing the two, but just out of curiosity I wanna watch the whole thing.
I would've liked the drama a lot more if they made it at least a bit more realistic. I love the anime, but those specific movements/fx should be kept in the anime only. They try too much to copy it that it looks silly. They should've only followed the storyline and it could've become a great jdrama.

Besides, it doesn't make sense that they copied almost all the lines from the anime, but they couldn't even keep some of the characters' original personalities. Kyouya wasn't supposed to be this warm. And Nekozawa wasn't supposed to be so involved with people either, not at first anyway. And don't even get me started on their appearance... If they had absolutely no attractive characters to choose as hosts, at least they could've kept their original hairstyles. Tamaki was supposed to be a blond! And Honey as well! Haruhi is the only attractive character, seriously.

Tegoshi Yuya would've made a great Honey and Kamenashi Kazuya could've easily been Tamaki. Aaaaand Uchi Hiroki would've been great as Kyouya. I really picture the cast of Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge as the host club *-* They would've all fit so well.

Maybe it's just me, but I can hardly focus on a drama if there are no attractive characters at all... Ouran is only entertaining if you don't take it seriously and just enjoy the silliness. It might also help if you don't watch the anime before the drama...
