I love all couples, any of them is not boring that I have to skip it, which is a really nice thing and definitely a success of this series. Keep going, I can’t wait to see the next episode next week!!!!

I wasn't really interested at first and I actually skipped it for a while in favor of other more recommended, like Tharntype, HIStory and Theory of Love( and while I like the last two, I LOATHED the first one). But on Sunday I just gave it a go and I couldn't stop watching!
What I love of this series is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's a lighthearted story with cute leads and normal life situations. No homophobic/ repressed/hateful characters (so far) and nothing too complicated. Before watching My Engineer, I watched Theory of Love and before that Tharntype so I was done with all the drama.
I won't spoil anything for you, but really, if you love a cute little story with hot guys, funny situations and a happy story, this BL is the one for you!

This is a fun series to follow if you're not looking for anything too serious. I don't really like sappy series like UWMA and I'm always looking for a drama that can give me a good dose of comedy and romance at the same time. Bohn's character is so fun to follow, his character development was nicely paced and not too rushed. The writers even slot in nice enough screen times for the other characters. We get to enjoy them although we know they're not the main characters. I just hope we have more development for Ram and King. Super unique story! Amazing show !!
I love how the show focuses on not only one couple but on all the side couple !! They focus on different points of view and talk about something that may happen in real life. I think the cast is amazing and they value their fans !!! I really enjoyed this drama as the characters were all unique in their own way. This show is honestly one of the best bls out there. Btw it’s normal too fall for the actors they are so easy to fall inlove it !! Ramking e TharaFrong, bastano soltanto loro
Andrò dritto al punto: se non ci fossero state le coppie Ram/King e Thara/Frong l'intera serie non avrebbe meritato di essere guardata. La coppia principale ricalca tutti gli stereotipi dei bl, che potrebbe anche essere ok se solo non lo facesse in un modo assolutamente terribile. Bohn e Duen erano carini all'inizio, poi diventano ripetitivi e anche banali. I loro litigi sono spesso sciocchi, non hanno particolare chimica. Duen è un personaggio molto stereotipato che in più occasioni si limita a fare dei timidi sorrisini senza veramente riuscire a reggere la scena. L'attore che fa Bohn ha delle belle espressioni, ma il suo personaggio ruota tutto attorno al tema della gelosia. Qualsiasi personaggio si avvicina a Duen scatena una scenata di gelosia. Anche un po' banale, direi. Piuttosto, perché Bohn non ci rimane mai male per il fatto che Duen fino all'ultimo si fa desiderare per un bacio? Insomma, sono studenti universitari mica scolaretti delle medie. Eppure non si comportano minimamente da studenti universitari. Un bacio dovevano darsi, mica andare a letto!Il vero punto di forza della serie si trova nella coppia King/Ram. Ram è un personaggio taciturno, che spero venga approfondito in una seconda stagione (perché parla poco? ha subito qualche trauma? qualche brutta esperienza?). Nonostante tutto Ram funziona bene come personaggio perché dimostra il proprio affetto per King con i gesti, con gli sguardi e con quelle poche parole dette al momento giusto. King è sostanzialmente... un gatto! Basti guardare la prima volta che incontra Ram e come salta sul tavolo. Ha anche l'aspetto di un gatto e davanti ai cani si comporta proprio come un gatto. È un aspetto un po' comico del personaggio che lo rende accattivante, soprattutto perché alterna questi momenti divertenti a momenti più seri e romantici dove dimostra tante piccole attenzioni nei confronti di Ram. In generale è molto bella l'intera loro storia, il modo in cui inizia e si evolve. Unico appunto: in una scena Ram difende king e fa praticamente esplodere la bottiglia che ha in mano, l'ho trovato un po' esagerato. Sembrava l'incredibile hulk!
La coppia Thara/Frong è la seconda coppia che davvero regge l'intero spettacolo. La loro è una storia che nasce lentamente, con i giusti tempi ma che proprio per questo si sviluppa in modo piacevole. Ogni loro momento insieme fa sempre sperare che si avvicinino di più. Sono davvero carini insieme e le vicende che li vedono protagonisti sono abbastanza riuscite.
Insomma, coppia principale bocciata. Ma la serie recupera grazie a due delle coppie secondarie.

Although the story keeps bringing up the word cuteness scenes from this BL isn't always cute and you would notice oftentimes that they are trying so hard to show this "cuteness" but somehow failed to deliver. Don't get me wrong this would have been so good if they went for HOTNESS instead of cuteness but alas. Somehow there will be times when the scenes will keep you at the edge of your seat and that feeling is good only to be left there hanging. Some characters are interesting but not really given enough background story that they became unpleasantly unrepeatable. boss/mek would be the source of giggles and juice for this somehow dry novel but they where not given enough air time, Ram needs his story to be told and king is so so so. :C , Frong and thara is so unnecessary. and finally cooper could have been a very strong actor with his hotheaded Bohn but Duen is not really fit to be his match Duen isn't even as cute as the story claims and the character is overly and unbelievably conservative/demure.
so my conclussion:
If you have no other BL to watch this one would do. Just dont expect too much
It is funny somehow
Could be considered wholesome (but still r18 because it's a BL so it's not really a PLUS!!)
overall I would say TRY IT!!!

slow paced, repetitive story
If I had a gold coin for watching a BL series with a dumb innocent and cute character, I would be a millionaire.I was more focused on the other couples in this series rather than bohn duen, because their whole relationship was just too vanilla for me.
Rann king should have got more footage and had way better chemistry than the main leads. lol in fact almost all couples had better relationship development than the main leads.
the story is nothing special, something that we have seen time and time again

Second chance and Lay Talay Sanguandikul
I tried to watch it when it was aired and i couldn't because it's look to cheezy for me, but last week i was bored so i try to watch it again, and i really like this drama from second chance. i think that it doesn't give good first impression.story-
stroy is very cliche and simple, nothing new - it's evolve around student gays couples , there is the slave king character and the good friend that doesn't confess, there is also the guy that can't realise he is inlove or something. everyone have an isuue, but what i like about it that it's natural, not some melodrama and complex, just ordinery fluffliness.
Acting
maybe i will edit it later, but most of them don't have so much acting skills. i think that Cooper is the best here and also Handsone Lay ,even better, there is something about him, he remind me of River Phoenix , the look in general and also the acting, he have some deep skills. but he also can't deliver it to the end because he didn't had a partner at all (Perth really bad actor) and also the script or the procucing didn't help him so much. at the end i think he was the shining star in this drama really.
i didn't like Poy acting, there were just one moment that he play himself, not some stupid kid but there was amoment at first, but most of the time he lookss stupid and it's not his fault, it's because they want him to play younger than his age, like 14 -15 teen...
I didn't understand why Ryen was dubbed...it's just ruined everything, he was cute but the dubbing just ruined it.
Boss and Mek was for me the most interesting couple, i think they were cute until the end,
i didn't like Shane and Md, everything about those twoe looks fake, like they are 2 models that try very hard...
Over all it's very sweet drama i like that there is not so much drama and suffering and everything is open and normal, like it's normal to be gay and not so special, they present it as if there is no complex or questions about it, it's nice, i know there are a lot of bl drama like this, but here it's extremly fun and normal,

The amazing chemistry of Bohn & Duen is just wonderful. So far, it's shown how Bohn lets Duen open his heart to him and then how their relationship progresses. Even though a third wheel is shown but he is also a understanding person.
The second couple, Ram & King who although are not a couple yet. But, King is keen in chasing Ram as they start to cross each other often due to being in one department as a junior and senior. And King's efforts are getting paid off as Ram has started to respond him(Not directly since he is shy talking to strangers but through texts). I also loved the tattoo on Ram's neck, its a cool tattoo. Ram & King's first meetup is at library where King notices Ram's Tattoo first and that's how their story gets started further.
The Third Couple, Boss & Mek who are called as Annoying wife and mute husband by their friend circle. But here, only Mek has feelings for Boss and he has never told them to Boss(afraid that he may loose his friend too). and Boss is always hungry for girls but he is rejected by them. Mek once tries to say his feelings to Boss and Boss realizes that Mek is just deep into his role for a short film and take it as a joke and then Mek too says it was a joke since he doesn't has the guts to show his true self. I hope Mek can make is possible to open up and it would be one awaited moment to see Boss's reaction on it.
Lastly, the Fourth couple. So far till latest episode they haven't mentioned the couple yet. It is making me wonder what kind of chemistry the fourth couple will have.
Overall I'm loving this Drama but i'm too much impatient to wait every Saturday for 1 episode. It's making me curious too for further story.

Meine Meinung zu den Couples
Am Anfang hatte ich so null bock auf die Serie weil es "My Engineer" hieß und ich dachte es wäre mal wieder eine langweilige Main Stream.Natürlich ging es wieder mals um Engineer Studens usw. aber ich liebe die Charaktere und würde sterben mehr zu sehen.
Ich fand das Bohn und Duen irgendwie zu schnell war und deren Beziehung relativ aus dem nichts kam, aber dafür sind die Side Couples echt gut. Ich war zwar wenig genervt von Boss und Mek tat mir echt leid aber ich bin schlussendlich froh für sie und würde mich mehr über sie freuen (Auch schade fand ich das sie Mek gedubbed haben und nicht ihn reden lassen haben, hätte echt gerne von ihm gehört)
Weiter mit meinem Fav Side Couple RamKing.
Ich liebe es das King erst Ram wenig näher kommen musste um überhaupt erst mit ihm reden zu können. Sie beide haben interessante Charaktere die man durch die Serie mehr kennenlernt. Oft ist es in Serien die "Bed Scene" welche eine Serie immer wenig hoch pusht aber bei dieser Serie bräuchte man einfach keine, sie ist so schon echt gut.
Abgesehen davon das mir das Main Couple nicht so gefallen hat, bin ich mit den restlichen Charakteren zufrieden.
Die anderen zwei XD dieser Doktor und der dude wessen beide Namen ich vergessen habe. Der Docktor war ja mal übelst cute mit seinem Pet und der andere Dude sieht nicht schlecht aus, habe nicht viel zu den zu sagen außer das ich mich auf mehr freue.
Diese Serie kann ich auf jeden fall empfehlen wenn wer Highschool Universe mag und auch gerne mehrere Side Couples sehen will.
Ich bin schon so gespannt auf mehr und warte mit großer Ungeduld auf mehr.

How to do satire 101
This show hit every cliche, stereotype, and satire imaginable, hopefully on purpose. And I am here for it.Other than the constant product placement, I can’t think of a single one missed.
And they did it so smoothly too that the clichés didn't feel unnatural or there just for the joke.
Speaking of jokes, though, shout-out to the Sotus running laps in the rain mention. IYKYK.
I also loved all of the acting. If just one strikes the wrong note with you, it will lower your enjoyment.
But I think that if you don't take this show too serious, are willing to roll your eyes at the screen, it's a fun ride.
