The story doesn't have much to it,trying to transform a "ugly" girl that it's already pretty but y'know, kdrama logic. Put some makeup on her, take her glasses off and add a dress and she goes from ugly to a model in a sec. And there were many random scenes that made me cringe like crazy.
But overall for being a product placement drama,it was pretty cute.
I recommend it if you have 8-15 minutes to spare, but don't expect too much.

All in all, a light drama to watch if you have half an hour to spend.

In my opinion, you should just watch the face of your favorite stars. Don't focus on the plot or anything else. Because that would be just waste of time. I didn't like it because literally there is no storyline. They are just just acting. Coming here & going there. Just that. Nothing else. It's short but maybe they think that it's so short that they can't even make a good story.
Just one thing don't waste your valuable time. I would suggest you that go watch something else. And if you wanna watch that's your wish.

This felt like a formula gone wrong. All the elements were in place--an interesting premise, a setting with potential and beautiful actors, But all the good ingredients rendered was an extended and mildly confusing commercial. The storyline was a bit like a bumper car ride with each jolt spinning me in another direction. Transitions were non-existent. The characters were strange, wispy, and dreamlike...like Alice in Wonderland/Edward Scissorhands/Warehouse 13 odd with unfleshed motivations.

Hot Take: 7 first kisses had a hotter cast.
Secret Queen Makers lacked everything that made "7 First Kisses" so charming and hilarious. One of the funniest and most enjoyable aspects of "7 First Kisses" was witnessing the female lead freaking out every time she met each of the male leads because she recognized them as men who are very famous people in real life. I missed the laughs.
The production value and work put into it is still insane considering that at the end of the day this is basically a super long ad, but compared to the other one, this one was such a disappointment.

I think the drama also has a good messege that u should try to be what u want to be and not let others let u down, at least this is what I took from it (other than its a promotion for lotte)
It's good for a mini drama and I liked it I recommend it, I mean just think of it as a movie all the ep together would only add up to like 2 hours so watch it.

some dialogue of this episode I like it
1.you stolen my heart 2.be beside me 3.the way he make her wear the necklace and saying her that you need it ,don't loose it.
4.last part of episode 4 when she throw the necklace and Chanyeol said her "I need you ".
Starting episode to episode 4 I was just thinking that exactly how all those men help her to become beautiful . She slightly change and then come to her original look .Total confusion but in 5th episode gave me hint how they help her , at one scenario she sat on the bench and recall what all of them said to her she get motivate and ready to change herself or can say ready to prove her self .At the last part entering of master I thought some interesting going to happen something related to suitcase but nothing happen like that .
Sehun part don't make any sense if he collide with her then what is all about master story that was definitely not be dream .
In short don't use much mind it just a long advertisement with some excited elements.

skipped the whole thing
I thought 7 first kisses was the weirdest thing I could ever see but that was worst,at least 7fk was cute compared to this one.it's extremely short so why would you put fictionnal stuff to confuse people ,lotte next time please just use different actresses in each episode idk maybe random people meeting each other and being friends in the mall or just describing a group of friends but one girl meeting 7 men is just weird seriously.I wonder how much they paid for this thing cuz actors/idols cost a fortune and they got 7 of themVond je deze recentie nuttig?
The story kinda uniformed, as it is only had one storyline, and learned about how to improve her confidence. But, girl should get her confidence by looking thing in positive notes, not switching your passenger's suitcase and you got free clothes and makeover.
As much as I like Sehun, his part is utterly nonsense, tbh. Sehun, Chanyeol, Chansung, Leeteuk and Hwang Chiyeol acting are mediocre as it best, cringe at the most. Don't know the purpose of Lee Junki, except he is a fairy godfather like Choi Ji-woo in Seven First Kisses *eye-rolled*. Go Wonhee looks best as Seo-jin in Waikiki and I don't know why she picked this role. Music just okay and everything else is a meh.

this one also comes with a meaningful script. I know it's the usual transform into a Princess trope but the way they did it, they talked about the issues surrounding the people we disregard as being ugly. Also, if you have a kid that is calling someone ugly you're the one responsible for raising him that way! A child gleans from their parents and their environment, they aren't born with these prejudices. Anyway, I digress. The point is I like that they didn't give the makeover too much emphasis. She achieved exterior beauty by achieving confidence in herself. Helped by a bunch of magical characters starting from Lee Joon Gi, Chansung, Leeteuk, Chi Yul, and finally Chanyeol. All of whom teach our Cinderella something that changes her life forever but even when she meets her final challenge in the form of an extremely handsome Chanyeol, she still wavers. I enjoyed the story in general but what I love most is that despite its length it didn't feel incomplete or rushed. It actually felt like someone put thought into this project. Absolutely would recommend!

B) Feel sad that it's over and/or feel like it's too short and wanting the drama to continue!
I personally had both of those things but I also felt very calm and understanding afterwards (I know that might sound weird to a newbie) the way they explain a minimum of the magic in the series makes it easier to take it all I need and make your own conclusions, which is great...
Overall it's the kind of drama that is an excellent boost to your mood!
