Both are Hong Kong horror films about women that are willing to go to extreme lengths to get what they want.

Horror movies focusing mainly on two women, one is divorced and constantly preparing food for the other. While not scary in the actual sense both are dark with disturbing (food) imagery and implications. You might never want to eat dumplings or meat in general again!
