Both have less but heart-warming romance, which shows the real feelings of love and understanding between the lovers.

Male lead has a motive to approach the female lead but slowly fall in love with her and then try to protect her whatever it takes.

the main female characters resemble each other a lot; both are cute, innocent and silly; both are mystic creatures (angel/gumiho) who have to learn how to live in the human world.

In both the dramas the male lead wakes up the female lead, a mythical character, from a slumber. In both the dramas the female lead clings onto the male lead and has powers to threaten them lol. Eventually they fall in love.

"I want to eat you" but I need you. Almost the same premise. it's just that now, it is Lee Seung Gi's turn to "crave" his one true love.

Both plots have the same framework: the lead male has a former love but because of some circumstances he has to be together with the lead female, then appears another guy.
Moreover, both dramas are written by Hong Sisters.

Also a story about the legend of nine tails fox but with several stories.

They are both supernatural. In Gumiho, the main girl is not a human and in order to become one she needs a human. She is +500 YO.
In Goblin, Kim Shin is not human too. He is +900 YO. He wants to end his immortality. In order to that he needs a human bride.
Goblin has more interesting storyline and has a strong sweet bromance too.

i believe it will be interesting to watch as there is a mix couple as in The Bride of Habaek. Though the fantasy character is a girl.

Well their are both about Gumiho, I think that were the similarity stop , the second one is a little more deep, and has more emphasis on human betrayal and that.

it might be interesting to see for a fantasy fan. a lot of magic and good romance.

of the superb acting of the two lead actors, never enjoyed a kdrama like this one. Very few romantic comedies that i love , but this one top them all. And love it so much together with my gf is a gumiho!
