Funny as hell!! Who would ever thought I'd sit here and watch a movie about a Japanese dude in an Afro. But this was hysterical! His voice-over conversations to himself were hilariously funny. The whole movie was funny! The train scenes, with the girl(s) in the short skirts? Too funny! You have to see this to believe it. No spoilers here. I guarantee you will be smiling at the end. Matsuda Shota, I love you!! Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
His usual serious look makes his role even more hilarious.
The other characters are not so well exposed, I would have liked a little more description of the surrounding world. Even extending Tanaka's monologues would have been fine.
Probably you'll find this movie a bit silly but, if you watch it with a bit more attention, you'll clearly see the positive message it sends.
Also the great finale just blew me away.
