This is one of the previous adaption of Handsome Siblings from 2005, therefore its definitely similar other than the quality in cinematography, costumes, scenery, HD quality. Story line is the same.
They are from the same story by Gu Long. This 1989 TVB version starring Tony Leong and Hugo Ng was one of the earliest popular version. Tony Leong was Xiao Yu Er even before Andy Lau's movie adaptation in 1992.
