Addictive Hot, Unsatisfying Mess with Irredeemable ML
Summary:* An irredeemable ML
* Too much skinship between ML and SFL. I lost count of the, “Ohhh, no he didn’t,” moments. Seriously!
* Happy Ending (although the ML didn't deserve one) is only 15 min out of 15 episodes
* Wavering and confusing (but gorgeous I know) SML. He should have stuck with FL. I would have rated this much higher
* They went all Edward Scissorhands and cut scenes that created a hot, chaotic, disappointing post production mess
* Series is like an old wooden roller coaster ride..in the end, it will leave you dizzy with a massive headache...
I just want to say that I REALLY hate giving bad reviews. It breaks my heart to leave one for Praomook. Maybe because I'm coming off the drama high of Tra Barb See Chompoo, a series that had almost the perfect formula for a revenge to love troupe. To say I was disappointed with this one is an understatement. I wanted to love Praomook because of Pon and Bua; HOWEVER, the first golden rule in romance writing is to NEVER make the ML's character irredeemable. The second golden rule is to NEVER show more skinship between the ML and SFL. The series managed to break both rules in one agonizing, infuriating, and disastrous fell swoop.
I do think because of the slicing to get this from 22 to 15 episodes, the show skimmed over fleeting signs of some good qualities in Lan. Also, Mook was a little too aggressive and unbending in the beginning. I kept wondering when someone was going to break to begin the healing to come to the inevitable happy ending. Unfortunately, the disappointing happy ending only happened with 15 minutes left in the 15 hour series. . Toward the end, I believed it was too late to save this relationship. I sort of hoped to see Mook (who matured in the end) ride away and maybe meet up with a Thai Idol, fall in love, and have two adorable kids with a cutaway of Lan languishing on a beach somewhere reflecting on what he did wrong.
Side Note: I've actually read forums where they were rooting for Lan's BIL (played by Ta Warit Tipgomut) to succeed in killing off Lan. This is how bad his character was written. I've never seen a ML's character become so disliked before. Honestly, I just want Ta Warit to star as a ML in something like My Secret Bride. REALLY love him.

I was so excited to watch this drama only for it to be a huge disappointment.
Why are ML's in all the Thai dramas I've watched, so ANNOYING. I thought this would be better, considering the fact that this show finished recently. But, every enemy to lover Thai show I've seen, or tried to watch, has the same kind of ML who assumes everything is the FL's fault, that it was her "plan". I am SICK of the word "plan".I think "flirty female lead" TAG is really not the right phrase to describe the FL. If being confident of yourself and being nice to someone, including men is considered "flirty", than she is flirty.
The best part of this drama was the friendship between the ML and SML. They didn't even have to fake it for people to think they were gay, it was hilarious. The friendship between the SML and FL was also really nice, I'm definitely watching their next drama together where they play a couple.
I get why the prophecy or whatever said the ML needed the FL or he'd die. His stupidity and ignorance would have been the cause of his death. He is so easily manipulated and always trusts the wrong people.
I didn't hate a charecter more than I hated the FL's sister. That is why I couldn't be invested in her "romance" even though I LOVED the SML. She was hypocritical, self-righteous and outright useless especially when it came to her own family matters. I get that she's suppose to be young, but how is she so immature. I found out she was under 18 in episode 10 and couldn't believe it, how does she have the job she has at her age. It also made her pursuit of the SML both annoying and disturbing.
The FL isn't that great either. She should have walked away from the ML a long time ago, and never looked back. Who willingy marries a person that hates them and will openly cheat on them, without hesitation. I just wish she loved and ended up with the SML. I did not want a happy ending for any of the couples on this drama. The only good thing about this drama was the comedy.

Drama
I love this series, I love the actors, there is a very good collaboration between the couple. I hope they do more series like this, the one with Tra barb see chompoo I loved it. The main actress is very beautiful. When he acted as Kiew in Tra barb see chompoo he also had a very good connection with actor Peat (from the drama).I recommend them, for those who like a couple like that I recommend them 100%, I saw their previous series 4 times. and it does not lose its essence it simply fascinates me.

Pon and Bua's chemistry
Pon and Bua's chemistry is unquestionably very good. It is clear that another drama was wanted to be shot for this duo again after tra barb see chompoo. Although the script of the series is not good, the chemistry of Bua and Pon makes the series watch until the end. However, with a very good scenario, a record-breaking series could have been created for this duo, who have fans in different continents of the world. When we compare the series with real life, it is certain that no one will live together after they behave like the characters in the series. Everyone is aware that this is a drama but I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be made more realistic. The best part of the series is that we learn about Thai culture in real-life frames. Slippers and spoons...

High expectations, Under delivery
When I first saw the trailer, I had high hopes especially since both the leads did a fantastic job in tra barb see chompoo... However, all my expectations were wiped out by a weak storyline, annoying characterisations and absolute lack of chemistry. The male lead lan was a jerk throughout. I never understood how he shifted his feelings including intimacy from one woman to another in split seconds . The female lead mook seemed tough in most circumstances except when it came to lan where she was a literal doormat.. She was vexing and irksome. Even though lan made it very clear that he didn't love her and kept saying disgusting words to keep her away, she kept clinging on to him to the point of being obsessive. There was absolutely no chemistry between the leads . The only saving grace are rut and petch who showed palpable chemistry than the leads. I also have to admit the female lead is superb in her emotional scenes, and you almost tend to sympathize with her character. But, love without dignity never lasts and is not to be encouraged or pitied. I somehow finished watching this, but personally wouldn't recommend wasting your time!

After all that... It's just disappointing...
I watched this because I am a fan of the main leads. I liked their chemistry is Tra Barb... The teaser trailer showed it was an interesting story but lo and behold they shortened the series too much that you can not make sense of a lot of things.1st - that damned prophecy which caused them to get married, I kinda wished they dug a bit deeper. I can't help but compare it to the fortune telling in my husband in law. In MHIL there was part at the end that showed the fortune teller was right about the couple.
2nd - I wish to have seen Rut chase Petch when he realized that he liked her not like how they rushed it from him realizing he liked her then bam they're together.
3rd - I kinda wished that Lan would have had a deeper reason to hate Mook. It could have been that when they were younger he realized he liked her but she left without a word. The way his character was written was so childish in his treatment of Mook I have no words to describe the foolishness of it.
4th - I wish the sister would have suffered more than how she did. She does not deserve that loving family that she has.
5th - this is a drama we all know eventually theybwpuld end up together but because they rushed to end this we didn't have a chance to see Lan suffer and grovel to get Mook back.
Lastly, don't get me started with Nuch she does not deserve that open ending.
If they decided to shorten the drama they could have edited earlier episodes so that the ending would not have felt too rushed.
I like the osts on this drama. I listen to it and added it on my playlist.
As for the rewatch value I would think twice.
Rather than asking the team of this drama for a 2nd season I would rather they rerelease this drama with the same cast and a more packed version.
Honestly thought of scoring higher than what I scored but that ending is just too disappointing.

Good chemistry but missed opportunity
Both of them re-united for a second drama and I was excited for this one. But was kind of irritated by the plotline. At times it felt she was the one being clingy(which she was). Really want to watch a different interpretation of such a show cuz you can already predict the plot pretty much by the first3-4 eps. What if she never insisted on being married to him and what if she got over him in the first place? The whole idea of "making him fall in love and leaving him" as a revenge for her past doesnt make sense to me as he never lead her on and clearly rejected her during high school that means she was the one who held onto it, can't blame him.Praomook is sure a badass in certain scenarios, will give credit there. Also isn't the sister a minor and lan's friend like mid 20's in the story? Love blossoming there was kind of not ok with me.
Really really wished they showed more of the high school romance aspect as it was somewhat tolerable since you can pass it off as naivety of the age but grown woman being obsessive is not it for me. For the most part it felt that she brought it on herself and her sister is equally annoying too

A TOTAL DISASTER!
This drama was destroyed. I don't understand how its maintaining a 7.5 rating, its so misleading. First they cut down the number of episodes. There was too much drag in the initial episodes. No built up on the romance. Seriously the male lead is about to cheat on his wife everytime but is stopped by something or the other like if not stopped then he would definitely cheat and had the intention to cheat. Female lead is too stupid. The story had so much potential. I don't understand if cheating on wife is so common in Thailand that they had to make a law for it. Its good that they did, with the way our male lead is in this drama. The younger sister of Mook is too annoying and selfish. Supporting other people over her sister. It looks like she only loves herself and that's it. Again in this drama also male lead is forgiven too easily and quickly.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

TRASH + Annoying Characters + Zero Romance & Chemistry between ML & FL + Annoying BGM & Editing
Simple. Just a trash drama with zero chemistry between the leads. How did you expect us to love the romance between the leads if they keep fighting and arguing until ep 14? The ML is abusive and a whole jerk. FL is stupid. She still accepts the ML even after what he did to her. She accepts him just because he is nice to her in the end. This is the first time I feel nothing when I watch two leads kiss. Who wrote this trash story? The sister is also annoying. The BGM is annoying. I waste my time watching this drama. Will I recommend this to watch? YES!! Please watch this... and feel my annoyance.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
poor work with good cast
I have high expectations with this drama as the cast was my favorite but this was a real disappointment. The storyline, directing, and editing, all were the worst. while skipping a lot completed the drama and even missed a few epis. The character has zero development/growth and the unfolding of the story was destroyed by very poor editing. The story did focus on the common lakor theme of emotional melodrama. The female lead character has zero growth in the whole story and does not inspire at all. The male lead character also was the same. The practical approach was minimum and the story narration or the development was not well executed. The editing of this drama was very bad. I have never seen this much poor editing in lakor.
There was very good chemistry in between ML & FL but the acting was not as good as there earlier lakor. Even in some scenes, emotions were very unclear. Do not have any plan to watch again.

Nothing
The image of the girl has shown is very creepy , that she has no self respect . Basically I don't like it ,it's so much irritating .the girl has no self respect not at all he rejected her so many times but she has no effect at all . I have seen alot of dramas but this one i found the most irritating because in this story you have shown the people that the girl is so much annoying and irritating that if the boy reject her 10000 times she'll keep coming again again with no self-respect and self-esteemVond je deze recentie nuttig?

This is the first time I have left a drama feeling this way - were we supposed to root for the main couple, Lun & Mook? Because half the time I could care less about Mook and I hated Lun. I feel like this drama could have been a lot shorter if Mook wasn't completely driven by her heart and what she believes love to be. I feel like giving this a 5 star review is being generous.I thought Mook was a strong independent woman who followed her dreams while taking care of her family. Once her father dies, she steps up as the breadwinner of the family and does everything in order to support her mother and sister, even if it means entering a contract marriage to the man who broke her heart in high school. After she is reintroduced to Lun, Mook goes down this downward spiral where she feels that she can take revenge on Lun, while supporting her family. Don't get my wrong, I felt terrible for Mook, as she was giving up her happiness in order to support her family, as well as being misunderstood and called a prostitute by everyone, but at the same time, I feel like Mook could have handled and responded differently. For example, instead of just keeping the course and doing what she needs to support her family and knowing that she is doing all that she can, she takes everyone's criticism to heart and starts becoming the person that everyone thinks she is. And in doing so, she said some really rough and mean things. Lun on the other hand.... I just don't understand why the audience should have rooted for him. We are introduced to him as this rebellious son who is looked down upon by his family, but learn that he does want that validation from his parents, but wants to do it in his own way and not working at his father's company. Instead, Lun expresses himself very secretively, where he wants people to think he is this bum of a guy, until the day he can randomly prove everyone wrong with a single act. Then, when he gets reintroduced to Mook, I feel that his childlike nature amplifies to the point where he starts to come up with extremely inappropriate lies to try and get out of his arranged marriage. And many of these lies were on much a huge level, in hopes that he would shatter her heart and want to divorce him. Lun's only plan is to hurt Mook so much that she will never love another human being again. And it hurt. It hurt bad. But at the same time, it is Mook's fault for not realizing her own worth, or understanding what she needs to say and do in order to live somewhat peacefully in her one year marriage. Instead, she loves to rile him up to feel like she is in control of the situation.
Funny enough is that this isn't the plot of the drama. It is a small piece, but the main plot revolves around Lun's family and their business. Lun enters a marriage with Mook, blessed by his family and shaman in order to protect him, as he is being followed by a masked stranger trying to kill him. Throughout the show, we start to get clues and hints that his "assassin" character is trying to get to Lun and his birthright position at his father's company. And that's it. It was a big game of Clue, where we have multiple suspects and we are trying to figure out if it is the ex girlfriend or the marketing manager.
Other than that, I wasn't a huge fan of most of the characters and I just wanted this drama to be over. I felt that Rut & Petch's "relationship" or insinuated relationship was extremely inappropriate. Maybe it was the 7 year age difference and Petch being 17? Maybe it was Rut being "in love" with Mook? Maybe the boss and part time high school student worker relationship? or maybe it was the fact that I truly believe if Petch was recast as a 10 year old girl, nothing about Petch's nature and personality would have been different. If the writer was smart...I think they should have paired Petch and Poom together. A, Poom was always looking out for her when she was getting her heart broken over and over again by Rut as well as supporting her at the company with her video game, type of relationship. I loved Poom...probably the only character.
But I got a lot of "men are never wrong" type of energy from this drama. Lun was literally shattering my heart over and over again, treating Mook like literal dog poop on the street, because he thought that would protect her, but the moment that everything is sorted out, and we have 20 minutes left in the drama, he comes out of no where and is like okay NOW I am ready to tell you I like you after hours and hours of telling you I hate you and to f*** off before. Nah babe...I did that to protect you.
And that is why I disliked him and this drama.
