Very similar in that they both have a young, school time setting where all of the main characters meet when they're younger. They find first loves and you get to some them grow older (not as much in BTWY) but the cute, fluffy and innocent romance connotations are all there! The main male leads are both super smart and have the cold, cool looking personality but both show jealousy traits when it comes to the female lead!
Both focus on a young group of kids growing up and experiencing their youth, these kids fall in love, develop great friendships, grow up and learn so much altogether! The main cps as well as the side ones are equally cute in both dramas! It's super cute and fluffy if that's what you're looking for!

However, TLE is a bit more mature in the sense that it's based in college, and so the characters are meant to be a bit older, however the main themes of first loves and first experiences can be seen in both shows! both super cute and high rewatch value
