It is not fictional, or supernatural it is more of a healing drama, and for people who have suffered or are still suffering from someone kind of mental disorder will be able to relate on many levels to this drama, it shows that everyone can change, everyone can heal if you just have the right person or persons by your side.....
My sister isn't a kdrama fan like me, but this particular one she was heads over hills for. It a drama worth all time if you just open you mind to something new

Got me hooked!
I'm glad I decided to watch this series because the story line is superb, the acting is great, the on-screen chemistry between all actors are awesome, and even though the story is a bit dark but they mixed it with enough humor, romance, and "healing" in it which make this drama such a treat to watch. The lead actress plays her character incredibly well and all those dresses she got to wear are to go psycho for ?
There are few surprises in this drama that you didnt really see coming but some how it worked well.
All in all, this "helping each other to heal" drama is definitely my favorite Korean by far of 2020.

Perfectly Imperfect
An amazing and well-written story of three individuals traumatized in childhood. The storyline weaves a tale of discovery in the connection of these traumas to each other, yet examines their individuality as each character breaks through the trauma and begins to experience life on the other side. At times it felt scary, almost too much of a thriller. There are scenes I held my hands up in front of the screen to protect myself from the "gotcha" moment. At other times I laughed out loud as the secondary characters provided the comic relief, and cried alongside those who felt pain and hurt. I thought all the main leads, Kim Too Hyun, Seo Yea Ji, and Oh Jung Se were perfect for their roles and the acting was extraordinaire. However, the secondary parts were amazing as well. I knew Kim Chang Wan from his despicable character in Hwarang, and loved seeing him play the director/counselor/father-figure to those at the OK Psychiatric Center. He is an amazingly versatile actor. So were the other characters played by some of my favorite actors from other dramas, Kim Joo Heon, Kim Mi Kyung, Park Jin Woo, and Park Gym Young. The casting director for this drama should take a bow for getting the right actors into the right roles. The storyline keeps you caught up in the story by weaving the connections between past and present. I don't really recall a time while watching that I felt the story lagged. There is also a twist that I did not see coming, and I have to say it was a blow to my ego. I'm fairly good at figuring out plot lines in books, tv, and movies. This twist I did not see coming at all. That's how good the writing was. I'm adding this to my top 3 best dramas I've watched this year.

One of the most relatable story
It's okay to not to be okay is one of deepest and thriller drama series I ever watched. Story have lots of mysteries and well connected the past and present scenarios by the director. Character building is also good and as I complete each episode it involves me more into it. About the cast, yes, So yea Ji is as gorgeous as ever in this series and Soo Hyun perfectly played the role of his character as he always do. I like most about the series is how they showed the deepest thoughts of mentally challenged patients and every patient should be treated by proper care and some love. They also introduce us to the darkest desires of a person and how that desires will lead us to become a different person than we used to be.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Masterpiece
For me this is one of the best series ever. I only gave 10 stars to another series besides this one and I've seen many, so for me to give this rating is because this drama marked me a lot and I liked it a lot. Obviously something that was very good for me may not be for other people, but I hope that's not the case here, but given the grade she has, she was appreciated by many.So let's begging the true review. This is a series that should be on your must-watch list at least once in your life. It's a obligation to see this and i'm really serious here.Let me tell you in a simple way what this series is: it is poetry, it is art and a beautiful art that makes you think in life and everything that is relevant. I watched each episode with a smile on my face, (and sometimes some tears) I wanted to watch it slowly to absorb it all and live in that world during that time (and maybe stay there).
Every sentence held my attention, every look, every song, every costume (and bravo to the costume, it felt like a fairy tale, for real they're so beautiful!!!!!!!!).While writing this i feel like I need to see again (and again and again and again and again) this masterpiece, because yeah this is a masterpiece. I'm not very good with words but in some way I want to pass for all of you how amazing this series is (and she really is). For me for example she's a breath, a water on a hot day, a breeze, a sigh, the sea.... everything that makes me feel alive.Ohhhhh how i wish everyone would see this series.
Let me tell you how amazing the characters are , let's beginning with her my queen Go Moon Young she a children's book author and she is incredible and her looks are FANTASTIC I'm not telling much i know but is because i don't want to spoil the surprise) .
Moon Gang tae is another amazing character that I fall in love with, he is a man that lives for the others and negligence himself in the process, he have the biggest heart that I ever see.
And less but not less important (and for me the heart of this series and bravo to the actor who play this character) Moon Sang Tae the brother who stole my heart, I'm not telling much about him because you need to see.
I really believe that you will not regret watching this series.I don't know what else to say without giving any kind of spoiler and I believe people should watch this show knowing absolutely nothing. So I think I should stop here.I just wanted to complete by saying that several publishers have released the children's books that appear in the series, I bought mine and they are beautiful, it's worth buying them whoever wants to.
Love.

MY FAVOURITE DRAMA!!
So, um this is the first time I'm writing a review on MDL so if there are inaccuracies please ignore. I was aware of this drama from 2021 when I saw the proposal scene of Kim soo Hyun on an ig reel and man was i instantly hooked. I kept myself from watching this for two years because I knew once I started it i won't be able to stop and I'm so happy that I watched it at this point in my life.I would say that the attractive leads including oh jung see were the first thing that captivated me and made me start the drama in the first place but the entire reason changed after watching just one episode because God the storyline is so amazing and fantastic. The ost's are great and really complement the mood of the show. The supporting characters have amazing storyline and all of their stories developed beautifully as the show continued.
I Love gang tae friend jae su and juri's mom a lot. The drama had a different portyal than most no of kdramas as the female lead was strong and kind of rude (but in an amazing way) and i really fell for her entire character and especially her outfits.
The chemistry the leads share is so momentous and sizzling that it feels like you're interrupting them in a real life scene whenever thae are together. Moon sang tae's acting as an autistic character was so beautiful and well executed that i actually believed he was autistic in real life. The mental health problems of the patients at ok psychiatric hospital were so heart touching and the way they were portrayed in the show was just fabulous.
Moon gang tae was amazing as the caregiver and someone whose entire childhood was shadowed in by his disabled elder brother. His flawless acting and his breakdown scenes in the show made me a huge fan of Kim soo Hyun. The bond between the brother in the initial episodes and the trio in the later episodes was very spectacular and showed in an amazing way.
I loved the fairytale arc of the story and the way the supporting actors never made it feel boring.
I feel like the only problem I had with the drama was the mother arc that was introduced since ep 13 in a heavy manner like it just wasn't fun to watch and episode 13-15 lagged and were boring because of the whole mother thing, at least for me but then the finale was so great the way it tied all the strings together and gave a proper happy ending to all the characters was really nice to watch. The couple could have had more romantic scenes imo but still as the lead characters are three maybe it was meant to be this way.
Lastly i just want to say to anyone who reads this,. Please watch the drama at least once, i promise you won't regret.

'They f*** you up, your mum and dad'
This impressed me so much when it first came out. Everything about this series is perfect. Each frame is a work of art. It's completely original and different to anything you've ever seen before. I love the honesty of the dialogue which strikes home more than once. All the actors are endearing and are well-rounded. My favourite actress is the FL: Seo Ye-ji, she totally owns this role. I love her husky voice and her ballsy attitude, she's on fire and hilarious to boot. Her wardrobe is straight out of 80's Dynasty and yah I just adore! I want to see her in more things, she totally deserves more work, she's a force of nature, a role model....and most importantly has a 'strong personality' which is sadly lacking in most Kdrama FL. The ML is gorgeous too! They are very well-matched physically, I must say! Kim Soo-hyun is even prettier than Seo Ye-ji when he shows up in a suit to get his photo taken...I kid you not! They're like two porcelain dolls that just happen to be terrific actors!!! I love the fairytales and the accompanying animations & drawings they're spellbinding and how they relate to their stories. So much creativity, a visual feast for the eyes! Take away word: 배고파 (baegopa) – I’m hungry!

such a healing drama
The thing about this drama is, every character is so fleshed out and the plot and character development is so well done and natural that it's believable. Like for example, if you watched the first two episodes and then skipped to the final couple episodes, the characters are SO drastically different that it's almost unbelievable, but the thing is that the writers did such a good job with this slow build that the characters' development is organic.I'm absolutely in love with the story, it's about two broken souls finding healing and love through each other. It touched on topics that I'm not used to in kdrama.
Also WOW! Seo Yea-Ji and Kim Soo-Hyun are the most attractive and good-looking pair I've ever seen, their beauty is out of the world.

"if you want to make people around you happy, you have to find your own happiness first."
i still don't know how to feel about this drama, i just know that it changed me.it gave me a new way of seeing the world. but the best part was certainly the development of the characters and the soundtrack. it's not about love, it's about people, and more than that: it's about people learning to love. and even with all the difficulties, with all the traumas of the past, it's also about people trying to move forward. and i think that's beautiful. it's definitely a drama for when you want to feel something.

It was alright>_<
It's been a while since i watched this, but i remember being impressed by the writing of the characters, i just found it slightly boring. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea i guess, maybe if i rewatched I could say otherwise, but i simply wouldn't rewatch. Overall an impressive and different series, i just can't say i was completely entertained and I still don't know how i even watch all 16 episodes.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
