The Girl Next Room series strikes again, this time with a story about forbidden love. This was admittedly not one of the most popular parts, but it certainly holds up well against the rest and might I even say better than some. It’s modest and funny and seems very likeable, but all of these virtues do not hold a light to the way the leads are written. View Wiwa seems conceited and airy, but that’s just a character she portrays. Underneath all that, she is just a simple and down to earth girl, quite evident from the very first episode. Faigun. Man, Fai is honestly the best character I’ve ever encountered. He’s funny, smart, handsome, hardworking, truthful and so much more, but his most endearing quality is that he’s real. This is a couple you can honestly root for and rightfully so.THE STORY:
So, View is an up and coming actress who moves into the dorm. Fai is this down on his luck character, who gets the security job at View’s dorm after saving P’Jam from a burglar. He also saves View from predators and she starts falling in love with him, but there is this evident gap between the two, causing cracks in what seemed like a smooth journey. Jealousy, a gap in financial income and societal status accredit to some of their issues. What will become of their love? That’s the main theme followed.
THE ACTING:
I’ve seen Gigi in a few other series ( Yes I’m talking about Pam ), but this is the first series of Kao’s I’ve watched and I can already say I love him. He just portrays Fai in a way that nobody else could. Also how cute was his intro?! Kao is one of those actors who just seems to thrive in every role. He has the acting chops to carry out those happy scenes as well as those serious scenes. Neo as usual is awesome.
THE PRODUCTION:
In my review of Richy Rich, I said that it had the best production, oh boy was I wrong. This one is right up there. I think it’s mostly because of Kao and the way he portrays Fai. Fai has been written as this sweet and innocent guy with an unwitting genuinity. Kao portrays him exactly as such. That’s what’s so endearing about this production. You can actually see the hard work that went into this. Also that reference to Kao himself in episode 4? Golden.
THE OST:
Still pretty standard stuff. Nothing different from the rest.
THE NEGATIVE:
The way View is treated by her manager and everyone around, no wonder the only person she is herself around is Fai. She’s being spoken for and one of the worst things you can do to a person is toy with their individuality. At this point she is being treated as a mere sexual figure and nothing more. Honestly, how disgusting do you have to be to demand sex from someone as a favour ? So frustrating!
THE ENDING:
What a cute ending! Remember the grilled fish shop Fai wanted to open? Well he did, and he set it up just like View asked him to, with the karaoke and gumball machine. ( Also well played GMMTV, with the Off Gun reference ). So now that she’s well established and so is he, they get back together and all is well. The rap at the end though. So cute! It gave us an update on all the couples after a year and spoiler, they’re all still together. A great ending to a great series.
I know this has been turned into a Faigun fan page, but don’t let that take away from the fact that this series is worth checking out. The story is cute and quite drawing. I hope everyone gives this a try because it’s worth the watch. Thank You!

But, I loved the episode 4 ending! This is how I would love to see the female lead act sometimes, and we never get to see it!:-) Also, there was the hilarious moment when Viwa looks for Faigun and asks around saying that he looks like Kao Jirayu, lol.
It was funny when beginning the 5th epi, she had to kiss him like 16x times in a row for him to finally ask her to be his gf, but I agreed with it, that precisely showed how much it takes and why people are slow and waste so many years or their whole lives sometimes. Plus, it was funny:-) Next thing she done was she forbid him to break-up with her because it was clear there will be people lining up to separate them.
In the final episode, it's got another twist that is incomparable with any other of the "Girl Next Room" stories. Which is why the rating is higher this time. The main character girl conveyed herself well and better than the usual type of heroines. Even the side roles like the dorm lady or Viwa's manager proved more than one depth.
Overall, what's great is all the show managed to convey in the short screentime: quite a success, considering it whole probably took a few days to shoot (judging from Gigi's clothes). Still it delivered some entertainment industry references and nice cameo.
What I liked in the preceding "Richy Rich" story the most, was Neo Trai's rap* at the post-ending of last episode, introducing this story. Though I honestly did not expect it to be better (previously, I even dropped one story), in the end it was.
Then... We get it again!* :-)

Love finds its way
So this is the only part of the series I watched. The characters and the storyline really appealed to me. Faigun is such a kind and genuine guy. He's probably one of my favourite male character leads. I fell in love with his personality. It was great to see Gigie in a series where I didn't dislike her character, haha. I hope she gets more lead roles. I liked her acting, it came across very well. The ending looks like it was great, when all the lead couples from every part of the series appeared. That was nice. The couple had great chemistry, so their scenes were very romantic. One quote that stayed with me was - "If we haven't done anything wrong, and we know that we are not in the wrong, we don't have to care about what people might think of you." That really sums up this part of the series.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

The series was awsome, girl next room security love touch my heart well the story is just a love between a security gaurd and a an actress name view viva, faigun the security guard and view fall in love with each other , well their love last long or breakup you need to see this on your own ?View Viva (Sarocha Burintr), a famous rising star model, decides to live in Jamjan Boarding House where she meets Fai (Jirayu La-ongmanee), a security guard in the said edifice. As she continues to reap success from her career, she slowly falls in love with Fai who gets to help and protect her. Very Cute Romance!
This was the final installment in the Girl Next Room series, and I thought it was a great ending! View and Faigun were adorable together, and the length felt like just the right amount of time to tell their story.I would have liked to see more cameos by the other characters, though! Tankhun had a decently-sized role in this (and I enjoyed him much more as Fai’s friend than Sundae’s romantic interest), and Sundae and Mimi showed up a little, but none of the other characters did. It’s not a huge deal, but the cameos are something I love about the series and this one felt a little lacking in that regard.

Good Enough
" Girl Next Room : Security Love " the last part of the Girl Next Room series, was okay, but not as good as the previous ones. The story was okay, but it needed more time to get established and properly presented. Thus, because of the lack of time and proper length, the characters and the relationship were all rushed, which is a pity, as they were interesting and had smooth chemistry. Also, the story was more angsty than the previous ones, with more hot kisses and a lot of drama when it came to the romantic relationship of the couple. It was a bit boring at parts too.
The performances were, in addition, pretty good, and, as mentioned, the couple had chemistry. The pace was relaxed, but not smoothly handled.
So, overall, five out of ten.

Short tip
Well, this lakorn surprised me because usually there so much of slap kiss or sometimes forced kiss like -rape scene-, etc. turning the story complex and tiresome sometimes. This one is different maybe because it's short, but you can find yourself wanting to know what's going on next. Some "Bad" Points:
- The history could be better explained, the love between ML and FL was very rushed and (for me) kind of "out of blue";
- I don't know if was on purpose or not, but the ML seemed like " too pure / naive" , and that's made me feel kind of angry because didn't see real.
Some "Good" Points:
- They put some problems that I always questioned myself about dating actress (or actors).
- The struggle in the beginning for new actor/actress, specially for women, when they have to face so much of men advances.
Well, overall if you're looking for one lakorn to spend some time and must be simple, direct, warm without too much complex problems, this one might be for you.
