Broken (2014)

They are both about a single parent who seeks revenge on their daughter's rapists. I find broken better than don't cry mommy. But they are both good movies.

Same revenge stuff. If you liked one, you might like the other one too.

Both movies are about families that have to deal with the aftermath of a brutal crime that has been done to their daughters.
Both fathers show the extent of what they are willing to do for their daughter.
Both are brutal, tear jerking movies.

Similarities:
In both movies a father loses his daughter.
Father sets out for revenge.
Heart wrenching.

Basically the same story. Both dramas deal about fathers that lose their teenage daughters. In both dramas the daughters had absolutely unthinkable things happening to them. In both dramas the fathers are out for revenge.

Another revenge movie but this time about a father who will go to any length to avenge his daughter. While I Saw The Devil is rage induced and has your adrenaline pumping throughout, Broken is rage induced but more heart wrenching. Grab a box of tissues and a cup of tea rather than popcorn for this one.

Bang hwang haneun Kalnal, "Broken" is the korean remake of the japanese movie Samayou Yaiba (The hovering blade).
