Very educational, relatable and relistic

I live in South East Asia. Online bet, illegal online loans, love scams you name it, is an occurring problems an epidemic that really wreck havoc in many household. Like in this movie they showed an guy from an upper middle class, very well educated but got an online gambling problem. Meanwhile in my country this online betting disease is targeting lower class, this movie trying to say that online gambling will targeting at everyone regardless their economic background or social background. What's insane is that, China have a very strict internet control and online betting, scamming is still happening in the country. Imagine where the internet is not so regulated. Boom an epidemic. Also some of the workers who went to work in those "factory" are also victims of human trafficking. Some were aware that they're going to work in that kind of place because they have no other choice for work. Very sad.
If you say this is a chinese propaganda kind of movie. I mean, the Chinese police really did and go to SEA to get these workers. It's all over the news.
The acting are sooo good.
Many people should watch this for educational purposes and awareness.

Honest Review

This movie made 3.8 billion RMB box office so I was curious and after watching it, I totally get why. It is off the bat captivating and a very realistic subject we can all relate to. Who doesn't want to make some fast cash? Cyber fraud is very real nowadays playing into the minds of those struggling wishing to make a quick fortune. It is base on a true story which is totally my thing but I would not trust all the details with any China movie/drama. However it is directed beautifully, well cast, fast pace, engaging, relatable and a great subject to warn society about a very real problem. I would say every actor did their job but female lead and the villains shined the most and their characters are more challenging.

Wrong information

Wrong info and wrong facts about Burma(Myanmar).

This is kind of Chinese propaganda movie.

Director did not check true facts OR he just directed wrongly even though wrong information.

These evil organisations in this movie really exist not only in Myanmar but also in other countries (especially in Southeast Asia). Clearly, the director doesn't check about these cases and crimes. He puts a frame on Myanmar as a bad country. In reality, all the people who ruled these organisations are CHINESE. Even Myanmar people are victims of these organisations. This movie spreads misleading informations just to make money.

Plus, the actress in this movie also made fun of Myanmar people dying (because of complex political situations in Myanmar) on douyin once.

Those gangs and their businesses are wholly managed by Chinese people, not myanmar people. Even myanmar citizens are victims there.

I'm sure production team has more than enough time to check but they chose to make look good for Chinese people as heroes and look bad on myanmar people as terrible and scary.
