Personality of the main characters aren't that similar. Yeoreum in Summer Strike finds it hard to express her thoughts/feelings and always accompanied by books. Houdoung in Meet Yourself is outspoken and easygoing due to the nature of her job as a manager in a hotel.
BUT the two series are pretty similar in the sense that the sudden shift in their normal, usual life has made them want to brave a new environment for a change. I have just started MY but it's probably gonna be another slice of life series that would make one appreciate life as it is and people as they are.

'"When things get hard in your life and work it's okay to take a break and restart maybe you have missed something in your life"
Both of these dramas are healing and comfort to me .

Summer Strike is like another version of MLN. Both series question the purpose of living without having happiness in it and achieving a real purpose by going against the direction of masses. Mundane life is more important than other thing one can have to find the real they. Both series has similarities and dissimilarities, but they fall under same spectrum.
Both seem like a warm melodrama where the female lead moves to the countryside after leaving the busy city life. They both meet a male lead who is a librarian or a bookstore owner.
They have the same fate especially their parents. They blame themselves for it. Both mother from these dramas doesn't like the male lead.
Same country vibe of living in a small town. Trying to escape from an unhappy life, reset and re-find one's purpose in life.
The nice and quiet male lead, a nice and non-toxic romance.
Also male lead of both drama are the same
Both dramas so comforting

First part of the Little Forest duology, which has a Korean remake, which also appeared in the recommendations. Just like Summer Strike, Little Forest (Summer/Autumn and Winter/Spring) talks about a young woman who finds herself worn out by life in the city and goes to the countryside to rethink her life.

Both dramas share a similar tone; calm and relaxing. The heroine in both dramas is quiet and reserved; who is searching for an escape from their busy city life. The difference is, that Lee Yeo-reum in Summer Strike decided to come and stay in a rural town, whereas Park Ha-kyung in One Day Off decided to take one day in her week to wander wherever her heart content.
