My theory regarding Toghon & Ki Se's feelings towards Seung Nyang

Couldn't understnad why they keep showing Ki Se's feelings towards Seung Nyang.
I mean, he saw her as a female and automatically fell in love? or was it - all women want me, or fear me, but not Seung Nyang?
is the show really that basic?

At the moment we have 3 guys interested in Seung Nyang.
Wang Yoo is the good guy, the hero, and the one Seung Nyang loves.
Ki Se is the bad guy. there is no doubt that he will never have Seung Nyang.
She will probably kill him in the end - no Spoiler cause i haven't watched further than this episode, just a feeling...
And then there's Toghon, the coward Emperor, that will eventually have Seung Nyang by his side, as seen from the beginning of the 1st episdoe.

Obviously Wang Yoo & Toghon are part of an intense love triangle with Seung Nyang, so why add Ki Se as well, that has no chance with Seung Nyang?
I have a theory that started to form in my head in the last few episodes.
Ki Se's feelings to Seung Nyang are a mirror to the viewers of Toghon's fellings to Seung Nyang, but without romanticizing it.

They both love or like her, but she doesn't like them.
She actually want both dead.
Both are responsible of killing her parents. Ki Se killed her mother, and Toghon's actions killer her father.
Both prevent her from being with the one that she truly loves - Wang Yoo.
Both have the attitude of "If she can't be with me, she can't be with anyone".
Ki Se claims that he wants her dead as well, but he is much more violent person then Togon and his behaviour is much more extreme. And even though he is a merciless person, he still doen't kill her.
Both also envy Wang Yoo. Not just because Seung Nyang love him, but because he is much better than them, in all aspects. Ki Se see how his father compliment Wang Yoo and get jealous, and Togon see the empresses (former & current), and actually everyone around him, compliment Wang Yoo.

A scene in this episode finally made me write this review.
Seung Nyang, pinned to a bookshelf by Togon, confessing to him that the reason she can't reciprocate her feelings to him is not because of her feelings to Wang Yoo. it's because he is responsible for the death of her father.
Does it look familiar?
Few episodes ago, she was at the library of the palace when Ki Se enterd and pinned her to a bookshelf, where she conffesed that she will never be with him because he killed her mother.

Toghon is not the good guy.
when you stop looking at him in a romentic way, you can see he is not that different fron Ki Se.
He just doesn't have Ki Se's power, ability & confidence.

I actually feel like there will be no happy ending that will satisfy me, since Seung Nyang will not be with Wang Yoo.
She may fall in love in the end with Toghon, but her feelings to Wang Yoo will always be deeper.
But, I will for sure watch till the end, thanks to the brilliant way the charactres are portrayed in this show.
