A fictional reality TV show were 6 contestants try to redo their first kiss with Sonomiya Ren, a celebrity.

Honestly, the synopsis sounded fun and when I did watch it I wanted more. Unlike a real reality show where they show you all of everything, this drama only shows the important scenes that are relevant to Bakayarou no Kiss. The days in the fictional show will skip from Day 2 to Day 10 to Day 20 in a span of a few minutes, so it is a little nauseating. However, because they only choose the juicy parts of the reality show to show us I got really invested. I kind of wish we got the full version of the show.

I haven't seen Bakayarou no Kiss, so I can't really say how great of a tie-in this is to the drama, but I like the concept of being able to see the fictional reality show that the characters are watching/participating in. As a stand alone drama it is kind of fast paced since there is a lot of time skipping, but it's not bad. You do get invested in the characters and you are on the edge of your toes trying to guess who will redo their first kiss with Ren. There are a few characters and plots that I wish we could have seen in full, but even without it it's not too bad. However, I feel you do have to watch this with Bakayarou no Kiss in mind otherwise the time skips will drive you insane.
