Pond and Phuwin still have a long way to go

Pond and Phuwin's acting remain raw and awkward, the former passing nonchalance off as emoting, and the latter needs to watch how tensing the brows and pouting the mouth are not enough. Acting-wise alone, they are perhaps the weakest among the 8. Some of the other pairs have either a stronger between the two, or both are equally strong and feed off each other's energy, but here. they are far from having the acting chops to carry off anything more substantial on screen. The script is naive and illogical for the period details, and serves as a disappointing start to the whole series.

Was expecting something nice and sweet, like two honeymoon episodes or something and then I suddenly got hit by time travel angst?! Unexpected! I didn't know what I was expecting for sure, but it sure as hell wasn't this... WOW!

Intriguing

Loved thisfirst episodeand the concept of having been together in past lives. It was fun to watch and entertaining.

It's cringeworthy and I love it

Almost everything that comes out of Palm's mouth is a cheesy line. I love it. The soulmate thing. I almost died from cringe, but I love it. Basically I love it.

Where to begin.

I have been looking forward to this show for weeks, and the first episode definitely did not disappoint. At first, the whole soulmates in every lifetime thing and having to travel back to the beginning was a bit farfetched to me, but it's really interesting seeing these characters play completely reversed roles. I have never watched a period drama before, so I'm not sure what goes on in them, but that's sort of the vibe I get from PondPhuwin's arc of this series. I am super excited for the next episode.
