The Editing is horrible
Whoever did the editing for the series - should go back to editing school, and if it was director's decision.... Why? 왜?The sudden cuts to the black halts the flow of the story, if it would happen only few times an episode to show that it took prolonged time between the scenes or something, I could understand it, but now
every
scene
ends
and
stars
with
a
black
cut
Somebody needs to relearn Cinematic language (when you want to break the rules, first you need to understand them and why they are how they are). The cuts not only take away the visuals but audio as well, which is even more jarring. There is a saying among filmmakers - "the most important part of the cinema is sound". The cuts to the black (and to the silence) should Have some value to the overall story, but now they are just... there.
These unnecessary cuts:
* take the audience away from the story ("Wait, what happened? Oh, we're back. Ok... What? It happened again? ... Oh, again? I guess I will check my phone then.")
* halts the story itself, the story should build up during the episode like a chart going slightly up, however with the cuts, the story always needs to start from the ground up: /\/\/\/\
I can skip uninteresting parts of the series, I can suspend my disbelieve with certain unbelievable things, I can enjoy the humour and good acting. However, I Cannot make myself go through the sudden STOP signs, which suddenly kick me out through the front window onto the pavement.

Overused plot
Don't get me wrong, this series was one of my most anticipated releases for this year but it kind of disappointed me. Maybe this show is not my cup of tea but the storywriters are just being lazy. They could have given us a better storyline by making the stepmother of Isoo not one of the bad guys. This plot, this character is being overused and stereotypical. But still love the bond between him and his brother. One thing I am irritated with is the attitude of the FL. Ik that she is harsh on him because she perceives him as just a rich kid enjoying Papa's money but her character could have been executed and written better. She is not being 'bold' by being rude for no reason. Also, I can't feel anything from her character like her expressions are just not giving the vibe that the character she is playing in this series should give. On the other hand, I think that Ahn Bo-hyun did the right job by playing this character. He gives off good energy and vibes. Every scene containing him is exciting so rather than adding a romance sub-plot with this terrible FL, increase his screentime and make this a show only for him instead.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

interesting and fun to watch
i loved it. give it a try and find out for yourself. a different plot from the usual ordinary police trying to catch evil cheabols. now we have a cheabol assisting with his weird ways. I loved his relationship with his brother. it was refreshing to see that they did not fight over the company like most other dramas. Not a Batman Spinoff
When I was watching the first few minutes, I thought this was a Batman spinoff and I was ready to drop it but as with other shows, I gave it a chance. Luckily I didn't drop it and it's far from being a Batman spinoff. I am already enjoying it and it's just the second episode. To be honest, I haven't seen much shows from the leads and this was a fresh breather for me to see "new" faces that can act on point. The action is nicely done. The comedy is not forced and not slapstick either. Seeing that there's a romance in the genre makes me wonder how it will pan out.I am looking forward to watching every episode of this series.

This was amazing, Ahn Bo Hyun will never disappoint you. He is my favorite actor and this one was just wow. The plot, acting and everything else was just chef's kiss. I waited for this ever since news that Ahn Bo Hyun was starring in it, was released. No matter how much homework I had due I never missed an episode. This was just so amazing and intriguing. The chemistry between all the actors was so good, no other cast could have done better. I have watched every k-drama that Ahn Bo Hyun had a main role in and his role in all of them were amazing. the 2024 surprise of the year!the main theme? i was skeptical... the storyline? sounded cliché... first episode? meh...
i gave it a chance because of the good local viewrship!
i was glad because this is a whole world of a story!

ITS A STORY THAT DEVELOPS SEAMLESSLY
that's becoming a rare trait in kdramas, unfortunately...
this is a show taken from an original russian tv show that had 5 seasons and movies! they had all the chances on their side to make it a success , and bravo its already renewed!
the Main actors and side characters were all amazingly played! they all had their personality, deph, meat!
the drama had the perfect blend of episode cases and the ML and FL arc stories.
i also loved the jazzy music, the 'personnified' inn soo, his victory/cool sign, his logo, it was all well done to be iconic!
the things i liked less? sometimes reveals were a little overdone... the story can be predictable but its always engaging!
i'll be tuning for s2. i'll try not to watch the original in the meantime haha

The drama offers a lot of cases that the investigation team is called to solve, in their delightfully whimsical way. That way the main plot doesn't get stuffy, and the drama does indeed focus on the police enforcement, and doesn't simply give a few at the start only to excite the audience and then try to keep things interesting with unnecessary melodrama for the second half.
The main mystery case was also interesting and twisty and enhanced the drama of the characters more.
The characters, moreover, where all interesting and had smooth chemistry.
The performances, therefore, were all great and everyone did a great job with their characters.

All I can say is: This K-Drama is the best Korean Drama of 2024
Before this K-Drama airing, I was waiting and manifesting that this would be the best K-Drama in 2024 and it turned out to be actually that good!From the plot, the character, the case, and everything in this K-Drama is really that good. Literally this is the definition of falling in love with K-Drama <3

Can’t stand the FL character.
FL is just plain rude and immature. She should pretend nice to ml at least but no, she seems like she has superior complex. I accept that she has a prejudice against rich ppl (according to plot) but the thing is although she knew she was wrong when the truth revealed, she doesn’t want to admit her mistake and just throw the blame on ML, not sorry for her wrong judgement on innocent citizen, and makes everyone isolates ML and kicks him out of the team makes me want to drop this.ML is typical ml in kdramas so far. And also the plot doesn’t seem unique.
