Didn't meet the expectations
I had read the webtoon much before the drama aired. I was really skeptical about the live action because they aren't usually as good.Storyline: It was okay till 11th episode, but completed useless after that. I had to force myself to complete it. They had so many unnecessary plots. The male female lead misunderstanding was so cliché, I was shocked that today's dramas can have this cringe plot too. The revenge part was okay, the typical plot made it boring.
Acting and Cast: Song Ha Yoon and Lee Yi Kyung carried the whole show alone. Heeyeon character was great too. The mother's character was annoying but that made them a really great actors. I had much more expectations from the female lead. Oh Yoo Ra character was completely useless, annoying and emotionless. The main lead chemistry wasn't too good either. Mr. Kim's character was really similar to the webtoon and his greasy acting was great.
The actors choice would have been better and the plot could have been better too if the didn't add the misunderstanding or fight and all part.
I usually don't give bad reviews because I understand it takes alot of efforts to make a drama or a movie. Overall I'd say it's great they didn't change much of the storyline from the webtoon but wherever they did, it wasn't great. Many things could have been done better. I won't think it as a comfort drama or something I'd want to watch. Probably something I just watched cause I didn't have anything else.

The last half of the show started to drag a bit due to the pointless introduction of Oh Yura but other than that, this show kept me entertained.

A Decent Revenge Drama Carried by Its Villains
Marry My Husband delivers as a solid makjang revenge drama, but let's be honest: this show was made by its villains. Their scheming and unrelenting antics keep the plot engaging and the tension high, adding the dramatic flair you'd expect from this genre.After watching the drama, I checked out the manga, and wow—what a difference! The source material offers way more drama, particularly when it comes to the villains and the male lead. I couldn’t help but wish the drama had leaned into those elements more. There were so many missed opportunities to elevate the story with some of the manga's more intense and theatrical moments.
That said, it’s still a more-than-decent watch. The revenge arc is satisfying, and the ending manages to tie things up well enough to leave you with a sense of closure. While it may not have hit every note as perfectly as the manga, it’s a solid entry into the makjang genre and worth a watch if you love a good revenge tale.

Great in the first half, rapidly slips off in the second
Its just fine. Park Min-young looks pretty and does a decent job while the male lead did not manage to impress. The main villains, however, (Song Ha-yoon and Lee Yi-kyung) did SUCH a good job- they carried the show single handedly. The psychological manipulation and desperation was portrayed so well, especially by Song Ha-yoon. Apart from that, the side characters were cute and nice, but couldn't hold my interest for long. Engaging....
Hey,you can hardly ask more from this drama.The story is not one of a kind but it's superb in it's own right. The story is engaging and you'll not find it boring if you know what you're into.
I give thumbs up to the actors for doing amzing job on this one.
The romance is good,even better compared to other romantic dramas.
This is probably one of the satisfying ending you'll find out there.
The villains and the hero/heroines both get what they deserve, everything is justified for me.

They shouldn't have changed the original plot...
When I fisrt learned there would be a TV series adaptation from this webtoon, I got really excited. To be honest, I started reading marry my husband once, but couldn't last more than three episodes because I found it really hard to digest. Jiwon's story is not just sad, but devastating in any way.Nevertheless, I could finish reading it and finally started watching the drama. I must say: it's a whole experience! It catched my attention from the first episode until the end, the cast was amazingly selected so they could look just like their characters. And the tension is real.
But what made me sad was the fact that in the middle of the story, they added another character, who's not a part of the original story and changed the whole storyline. In my point of view, the true villain wasn't that bad compared to Ji Hyuk's ex-wife or even the real Sumin, the one in the webtoon series. Probably the worst flaw, but thankfully it didn't ruin everything at all; it could just have been better.

Tudo começou com um webtoon…
Tal como tinha dito anteriormente em outras reviews, li o webtoon e uma parte da novel e adorei o plot do início ao fim! Quando soube que iam fazer um kdrama baseado nele, chorei. Hoje choro mais uma vez, não só por ter acabado mas também porque queria que tivesse sido perfeito e não foi…As personagens estavam fantásticas, consegui odiar a Sumin e o Minhwan como nunca antes, porém estava à espera que o avô do Jikhyung fosse o Lee Deokhwa e que a mãe dele aparecesse, mesmo que só por um episódio. Houve tanta coisa que ficou por mostrar! Este seria um dos poucos kdramas que pediria para que fizessem pelo menos 18/20 episódios. Mas o que está feito, feito está!
Props: para o Lee Gikwang como Baek Eunho, não era quem eu visionava, mas surpreendeu-me.
Curiosidade: para quem não leu o webtoon, não há ex-noivas prometidas ciumentas e psicopatas. Esses momentos foram desnecessários e não trouxeram nada pra história a não ser perda de tempo.
P.S.: o meu vizinho arrebentou com o cabo da televisão e internet ao cortar uma árvore enquanto eu escrevia isto.

Dramma bello bello.
Da amante del fantasy questo dramma non vedevo l'ora di vederlo. Ho amato la storia di come i protagonisti si sono innamorati e come il loro amore si è evoluto.Storia sicuramente sofferta ma poi a volte pure divertente.
I protagonisti sono perfetti insieme proprio una bella coppia.
Odiosi il ex marito e la finta miglior amica come come anche altri personaggi davvero negativi.
Ha un bel lieto fine ma la storia comunque si svolgerà diversamente da come ci si aspetterebbe e questo lo rende più intrigante.
Consiglio vivamente la visione.

Hats off to the second female lead, she really got my blood boiling and had me screaming delulu! at my TV screen.
I will definitely recommend this drama and can see my self watching again. I loved the lesson being sent …>the fact that a person doesn’t show their pain or wear it on their sleeves, doesn’t mean they have it better than you.

La historia narra la vida de la protagonista y como esta termina muerta por culpa de su esposo y mejor amiga y despierta años atrás, antes de casarse con su esposo y su objetivo es impedir ese futuro, aunque ella no será la única que viaje en el tiempo.Una historia de romance, venganza y no dejarte por nada ni nadie.
Un drama que me dejo encantada, desde el inicio prometio y cumplir, lo disfrute, me reí, anéxele la venganza y todo pasaba increíble, solo hubiera querido que la antagonista sufriera mas, incluso el final fue bastante bueno, no siempre pasan las cosas como uno piensa.
el ost es sencillo pero muy acorde a la serie, toda la musicalizaron en la serie fue adecuada y te llevaba a los momentos claves, la musica en si te iba contando la historia.
Sobre las actuaciones, como siempre Park Min Young es una estrella, es una actriz que disfruto de todo los trabajos que hace, desde que la conocí nunca me ha decepcionado. Las actuaciones de todo realmente fueron muy buenas, algunos los conocí en este drama, y espero seguir viéndolos mas adelante.
Recomiendo verlo? claro que si, a todo a que que ame las historias de venganza y nuevo romance, esta es su historia, se disfruta y seguro que no van a querer soltarla.

Satisfying revenge
This drama was action packed and tense and so satisfying! Revenge is sweet, as they say! The actors did a brilliant job and I loved how this drama played with my emotions at times. The villains were great--I hated them so they did a great job! The leads were sweet and I liked them together. Overall, this drama was very satisfying and kept me invested until the end. It was a great distraction and escape from the real world and I'm so glad I got to watch it! I highly recommend if you like revenge dramas!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
