If you're given a second chance, don't run from it, SEIZE IT!
Hello readers!!If you've been watching edits on your TLs of any platform, I suggest you bag it and actually watch this series because I can never express how I felt from ep1-16.
Marry My Husband is the adaptation of a webtoon of the same name and there are contexts of marriage, cheater scumbags and teenie tinie love triangle that was so perfectly dodged. Must I say the fantasy adds so much meaning to the storyline. The overall philosophy of adulting, work-life balance, friendships, judgements of characters and karma is too perfect
Personally the negative characters ate too good with their roles. It'll forever scar me to see them in a positive light which is the beauty and trademark of the drama.
While it may not be everyones cup of tea personally I mark this drama as probably the best kdrama of this year alone and once you're watching it, you'll see it for yourself!!

The Perfect Revenge
This drama didn't disappoint me from the start to the end! But ofc i was so nervous and angry because of characters like Min Hwan & Soo Min ●__●Anyway, Loveeed it .
I want to review it in a few points:
1- every episode was full of emotions and i loved to watch Kang Ji Won raise up for herself, making some real friends, and fighting for her life.
2- every girl needs her Ji Hyuk ! What a safe place you are ㅠㅠ he was really there for her.
3- the chef and the foodie girl ( Eun Ho and Hee Yeon) were a great energetic couple, i wanted to see more of them. So cute !!
4- How charming is the lawyer : Lee Suk Joon ( ahh one of my fav men in this drama)
5- The acting was amazing, i think everyone in this cast did a great job, so well done.
6- i love how they took the wedding photos so seriously hehe, it was so elegant that you might believe it's a real wedding.
7- the perfect drama if you are bored.
I don't know why i see many negative comments from the web novel readers, so let me tell you as a reader, it's okay if tge novel and the adopted work art not the same, it's not supposed to be a copy, so enjoy them both and stop being so serious ♡

Everything must have it's place
I honestly loved the story, acting, and twists and turns in this show. The BTS on this were even more fun to watch. The 'Husband' is so wholesome in real life, and as much as the show makes you hate him, watching his interviews and the BTS of the show makes him much like Tom Felton for Harry Potter fans. They hate him as Malfoy but love him as a person.Kang Ji Won with stage 4 cancer, and a best friend who can't live without her is dying. Her deadbeat of a husband isn't paying her medical, so she heads home, only to find her husband and best friend in bed, planning on how to spend the insurance money once she's dead.
She confronts them and, in the process, falls on a glass table, leading to her death. When she wakes up, it's 10 years earlier, and she has a second chance to forego all the bad. Her first lesson: What happened before still must happen. Her goal: Make her "Best Friend" marry her once-husband (who is currently her fiance/boyfriend? Honestly, I had trouble keeping this straight as she broke it off a few times at the start). Can she escape her fate of marrying a deadbeat cheater and find the happiness she deserves?
Yoo Ji Hyeok, her Chief Manager at work, starts to notice her, and their feelings grow. He starts to help her with her goals. He, too, has a secret.
I absolutely loved Kang Ji Won and Yoo Ji Hyeok together, and their chemistry was off the charts. His unwavering support of whatever she needed was heartbreaking to watch as he struggled with her plans, but it was heartwarming to know he trusted her reasons.
I fully recommend this as a watch albeit for older teens and adults, and not children.

SUPERB SUSPENSEFUL ROMANTIC DRAMA
Magnificent Drama. From start to finish - witty, exciting, suspenseful, romantic, life affirming. The two lead actors were spectacular to the point that they were real three-dimensional humans. Park Min-Young was such a great fighter!! She is one of my favorite actresses frim the 1st time I saw her in What's Wrong With Secretary Kim. Her match was Na In Woo, who I had not seen before, but he was fantastic - super handsome, kind, considerate, brilliant, a planner, romantic!!I loved her dad, his smile just charmed me. Wouldn't it be nice to have such a person in your life?
There are so many key aspects to this show - romance, destruction, redemption, memories, evil, greed, jealousy, love, friendship, protection. You will not have one dull moment.
Shout out to other key players - the evil duo were fantastic; the lawyer and the lady I think he loves - but why no confession?, the incredibly handsome, sweet, sincere chef and the ebullient cheeky sis, the judo friends, the jealous creepy woman - who could like her?
Plus, what I always crave in a romantic drama but rarely happens. This drama delivered in spades.
From start to finish, you will wish for no interruptions and want to spend 16 hours in sheer bliss.
Thank you to all cast, writers, production teams, writers, subtitlists, sound, music, sets, .... I know that like What's Wrong With Secretary Kim, that I will return to this drama again and again for an uplifting, dramatic, oft scary, romantic roller coaster ride.
Note that I've now placed all of Na In Woo's ouvre in my queue.

The best of 2024!
Having watched numerous revenge dramas and stories featuring characters getting a second chance at life, I was pleasantly surprised by the unique twist that Marry My Husband brought to the table. From start to finish, this series was thrilling. Every episode left me eagerly anticipating the next, craving more of the gripping storyline. What really impressed me was the balanced portrayal of power dynamics between the "good and evil" characters. Unlike some dramas where the main character is bullied until they finally fight back in the end, the main leads in this drama hit the ground with their boxing gloves on.
In my opinion, Marry My Husband stands out as one of the best dramas of 2024 so far. Its fresh approach and thrilling storyline make it a must-watch for fans of the genre.

Go for it
Marry My Husband" is one of the best dramas I've seen. While theme-based dramas aren't uncommon, this drama's uniqueness shines through in many aspects. One of its standout features is how the characters are given a second chance to rectify their past mistakes. The drama covers a wide range of themes, including humor, cruelty, bullying, love, jealousy, hatred, conspiracy, obsession, and regression.
I particularly enjoyed the ending, which fulfilled my expectations of a satisfying conclusion to a happy ending story.
Lee Yi Kyung's performance was outstanding. Having seen him in "Eulachacha Waikiki," where he showcased his comedic talents, I was surprised by his ability to portray a negative character in "Marry My Husband ." He demonstrated a range of emotions, from love and fury to comedy, obsession with power, and the cruelty of a husband. He truly excelled in his role.
Regarding the other actors:
The female lead delivered a remarkable performance, showcasing her exceptional acting skills. Her portrayal of the scene where she discovers that the person who dropped her home was her father, leading to her emotional breakdown, was particularly impressive. Additionally, her reaction upon returning to the year 2013 and seeing her husband was incredibly moving.
There were many small but impactful scenes throughout the drama, all elevated by the stellar performances of the actors.
The male lead also delivered a strong performance, as did his sister and the actor who portrayed the chef.

wow!

Amazing.
I loved loved loved this show. First of all, the story/plot catches your attention right away, leaving you excited to keep watching. The friendship between Ji Won, Hui Yeon, and Joo Ran was one of my favorite things about the show; it was so sweet. Of course, there was good romance in it. The whole getting revenge and her having to figure out how to get Soo Min to marry Min Hwan was so captivating. Safe to say, I think this show is incredible and will recommend it to anyone. For this drama, I have a lot to say about the cast/acting: Park Min Young is gonna do it for me every time! I love her. Also, Choi Gyu Ri really stole each scene she was in! She was so lovable, and my attention was drawn to her every time. The fact that I hated Min Hwan and Soo Min so much goes to show how well these actors can act. All the actors in this drama did a great job! I'm very impressed.

A vingança perfeita
E acabou! A química da min Young e do in woo!!!!!!!

Was going great until...
Just to warn you, I'm a big fan of keeping a screenplay as close to possible as the original novel/webtoon. This drama was going great until they introduced a fiancée for ML who NEVER EXISTED in the webtoon. I could tolerate the other changes - ML committed suicide in the webtoon. He didn't die in a car accident. FL didn't know about ML being reborn until much later in the webtoon. That was a nice twist that was surprising to even the reader. Grandpa was not your typical chaebol patriarch who made arranged business marriages. He was a cool dude - he even had a ponytail. I seriously don't know why these screenwriters have to follow the 'old' Asian template of business marriages & fiancées showing up and ruining ML/FL's romance. Not only did ML have to play the noble idiot (my 2nd most hated drama device) but now there's a fiancée that never existed in the webtoon (my most hated drama device). That's when I had enough and stopped watching, picking it back up at the end. I literally had a short-lived temper tantrum because once again, a screenwriter ruined a perfectly good drama. It's bad enough that Netflix did a hatchet job on my favorite all time webtoon, A Business Proposal; now the screenwriter had to add the MOST ANNOYING drama device out there to Marry My Husband - a fiancée for ML.To top it off, I honestly don't think the director understood the characters in this drama at all. Both Ms. Yang and ML moped around the entire time - they were perpetual rainclouds. I didn't get that in the webtoon from Ms. Yang at all and ML was reserved but not depressed. He blushed a lot in the toon. Grandpa was not your typical meddling rich chaebol - honestly, ML's entire family was wonderful. I think the only ones who nailed their character was ML's sister (my favorite character in the toon besides the leads), possibly FL & Sumin (although she wasn't as fluffy and feminine as she was in the webtoon). As for the husband, the actor playing him is just too likeable for me to hate him. He came across as just a lazy dope who thought with his man part rather than the despicable character he was in the toon.
When the screenwriter changed the plot elements, he/she introduced some questions like - FL knows ML was reborn so why doesn't she ask him how he died and get to the bottom as to why he's so depressed all the time? And why is ML depressed? If FL can change her fate, why can't he? Besides, if FL doesn't die, then he won't be in the 'death car' coming back from her funeral. His depression and gloom doesn't make sense. Why doesn't he try to change his fate like FL????
Despite these changes, the drama was good (and amusing at times - Panties Park) until ML's so-called fiancée showed up. It wasn't necessary and was a completely made up element. I would rather the episodes get cut down to 14 if they didn't have enough material rather than add this old, annoying, worn out drama device. K-Dramas have evolved beyond the arranged marriage trope, screenwriter!
