The Most Endearing Watch This Year
What happens when Cinderella shift gears from being a damsel in distress to becoming a knight in shining armor!Apart from the comic hysterics that are a metaphorical part of this moniker, "Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale" was a hilarious double take on an age-old classic. The show didn't have any godmother springing a surprise visit on the poor Cinderella, instead we have a daredevil female lead who knows what she wants and she strives to achieve her goals, no matter how foolhardy they seem. Add two handsome men to this mix, and we have a romcom bursting with fun and joyful antics. Starring Pyo Ye Jin & Lee Jun Young in the lead roles, the show gives us a wishful romance full of aching love and yearning. After watching the pilot episodes, I was instantly wooed over by the chemistry between the main leads; they are unusual, chaotic, and totally abnormal, but what is amusing about them is that they match each other's craziness. Shin Jae Rim is the only one who can stand Moon Cha Min's presumptuous attitude and arrogant demeanor, they are a match made in hell or vice versa. My Friday's have been an utter joy for the past five weeks, I couldn't wait to watch the new episodes.

Na minha opinião, foi um acerto os dois protagonistas, pois os personagens são engraçados e fáceis de gostar. Além de ser uma série leve e engraçada, o número menor de episódios fez com que a história não perdesse o ritmo. Ainda que só com 10 episódios, conseguiram entregar um final digno para os protagonistas, coisa que muita série longa não consegue.

Un cliché absurdo
Recuerdo que vi un tiktok donde decían que las escritoras querian hacer una cenicienta diferente, alguien independiente, no la típica que necesita un príncipe y resulto que cayó en el mismo cliché de siempre. Fue hasta los últimos episodios que se dio cuenta que ella era su verdadero príncipe pero terminó con el protagonista jajaja, bastante contradictorio si quieres dar ese mensaje.La comedia era rara, parecia caricatura con una narradora y esas escenas de anime algo absurdas, lo único que rescato es la imaginación del protagonista, tratando de reprimir sus emociones, en verdad que me gusta mucho ese actor, lástima que no tomo un buen proyecto, espero que elija algo mejor la próxima vez.
En conclusión si te gusta el cliché basico, y no eres muy exigente puede que te gusta para pasar rato.

The chemistry between the leads was palpable, yet the pacing sometimes dragged, making it hard to stay fully engaged. However, the strong performances of the side characters added depth and humor, often stealing the scene and providing a much-needed balance to the storyline.
One thing I particularly appreciated was the way the show tackled real-life issues. It wasn’t just about romance, but also about personal growth, career challenges, and navigating complicated relationships. These elements gave the show a sense of authenticity, making the characters more relatable and their journeys more compelling.
Overall, it was an enjoyable watch with memorable moments and a solid cast. Even though some parts felt a bit slow, the charm of the characters and the underlying themes of the story made it worth sticking through to the end.

Cinderella love - my cute sweet catchup weekly.
Light hearted and sweet story! A little short and I hope it would be longer because I wanna enjoy the sweetness more.Production wise, love the sets even though most of the story happened in the same few sets. Shin Jae Rim's outfit towards the end was nice! Not to mention, I kinda like the butler's dress sense after work. It gave a little character to the butlers working in the Cheongdam Heaven.
Acting - there were a few stiff acting by the sides but overall the leads carried it quite well. There was a slight sense of awkwardness between the leads but I think it does add to the story quite well.
Overall, I love them!!

A modern Cinderella story
I watched it because I loved Lee Jun Young. I was excited to watched it but I wasn't expecting that it will turned out this way, it doesn't meet my expectation. It's a typical fairytale story with a twists, actually its not that bad I was just expecting too much. Its a common Cinderella story that a poor lady that fall in love wit a prince charming. I love the love-hate relationship at first and later on they didn't expect that they will developed feelings for each other. The FL has a two sisters that not too evil at all and the stepmom loves her dearly specially when her dad dies they never neglect her inspite they carec& very appreciative on her.There is a love triangle between them the guy is engaged with the woman he doesn't love they are just engaged to grow more in their business. The fake fiance is really trying hard to do evil stuff so that they will fall apart from each other. But their feelings foreach other is stronger and grows pounder that no one can break them. Until one day the family of his fake fiance tries to scare him for hurting their beloved daughter, they even closed his business and he has left with nothing. But the FL and ML fight for their love & they remain inseparable. And together they strive hard to make it work to be successful someday. And they were successful in their chosen path and they lived happily ever after.

ROM-COM WRITERS TAKE NOTES!!!!!
This is the first Rom-Com (Kdrama) that i've binge-watched for a while!!!!!!!!! The SPOT-ON cast and the hilarious moments throughout the kdrama made this rom-com a really worthwhile watch!!! The only small thing i'd maybe change is how the ending was made because personally it felt a bit rushed and I would have liked to see a bit more closure for the rest of the characters but maybe that's just me! Otherwise everything else is AMAZING!!!! The cast WAS SPOT ON, from the main leads to the even the smallest of characters!! I definitely had the second-lead syndrome BIG TIMES (Male because the Dan-A kinda pissed me off esp at the end) but I do understand why ultimately she ended up with the male lead. That one scene where the SML stands up for the FL to the mean girl and tells her off about how she isn't the one pursuing him but the other way around WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS GIGGLING AND KICKING MY FEET. Tbf though, I didn't like him much at the start because of the hankerchief moment and how he's kinda playing her at first but I like how he did truly like her towards the end and not as just a pawn in a fun game anymore ( AfterThe BL novel thing and he realizes that she might be only one that accepts him for who he truly is persona or not). Overall I LOVE LOVE LOVE (Should I say it again? LOVE) THE ACTORS THEY PICKED (One because I already know the actors from their previous projects) because for starters you can really see through the ML's face and face expressions that Cha-Min is quirky and VERY confident. While the FL has that little crazy look that fits just right (Idk if that makes sense but yknow that little glint of mischiviousness in her eyes). ANYWAY, this Kdrama was completely worth my time and I'd rewatch it but maybe not anytime soon maybe in a year or 2!!! A modern twisted fairytale with great humour.
For me this was, unexpectedly, a laugh out loud Rom Com. The absurdist humour was very good at poking fun of fairy tale romances. The setting is modern day Cinderella with the FL living with her step mom and step sisters with the twist that they are not bullying our cinders.FL has realised, through a hint from her deceased father, that instead of trying to succeed in business she may as well nab herself a wealthy prince charming. this naive worldview is the basis for the drama. In reality it proves to be much harder to execute.
The ML is very quirky and also has a naive worldview "follow your Joy" is his catch phrase, however, as the plot unfolds we realise he has hidden emotional scars and is really hiding behind his wealthy lifestyle, including a fake fiance to keep husband hunters at bay.
Despite the light hearted frivolity and steamy kisses, real and imagined, the two leads do have good chemistry together.
I liked the twist where our FL decides to not wait to be rescued by prince charming but embraces her earlier memories of boldness and uses this to help heal the ML and win him over.

É UM DRAMA BEM LEVE E LEGALZINHO DE ACOMPANHAR
Conseguiu conquistar meu coração com uma trama bem desenvolvida, personagens carismáticos e um equilíbrio perfeito entre momentos de tensão e leveza. A química entre os personagens e os toques sutis de sofrimento adicionaram camadas interessantes à história, tornando-a ainda mais envolvente. As declarações emocionantes e o final que deixou um gostinho de quero mais demonstram o cuidado na construção dos episódios. Estou feliz por ter apreciado tanto essa trama que mescla romance e comédia de forma encantadora. Would Recommend for Business Proposal Fans or Romance Manhwa Readers
I don't know about other people but I really, really like this drama. It's a bit shorter than other dramas, but it's the perfect rebound for me after finishing "My Lovely Runner". It's cute and fluffy and has some cliches yet they're presented in a original way. Idk, this drama has FRESH feel to it and I've never seen another drama like this. For instance, the leads gets very FRISKY and INTIMATE in the ML's dreams (I've never seen another romance drama where the guy gets a boner or wet dreams, lol). ML is kinda obnoxious but he's also so handsome and has dirty dreams which make him more realistic and human. Another thing that's unique about this drama is that it's in 3rd person POV, so we can relate to both of the leads and see what they're thinking and feeling. It very much feels like I'm reading a Korean webtoon or manhwa. I would highly recommend this show if you liked Business Proposal.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Omg, at first, i thought this drama would be a cliche and boring drama. But it turns out theyre so freaking good HAHAHAHHA. Theyre so hilarious. The editing and all got me everytime HAHHAHAH. Also at this point, i was trying to find any drama that has this drama vibe but i couldnt, so i just kept rewatching the episode while waiting fpr the next...
