love 1st episode jung somin and haein looked great kind of excited for this series? i hope it will a good 1 fml mother is annoying i loved fml best frnd she is cute
The first episode of Love Next Door delivers a refreshing take on romantic comedies, blending quirky humor with heartfelt moments. Right from the start, the drama introduces us to Jihoon, a reserved yet charming freelance writer, who unexpectedly finds himself entangled in the life of his lively and unpredictable new neighbor, Soyeon.
Awful. Especially the first 30 mins are just bad. Boring, annoying, everyone is.just being unbelievably stupid. I'd suggest you skip the first 30 mins bc it does get a little better. It gets quite a bit better in episode 2.
The first episode of the all-new series introduces viewers to a delightful blend of humor, nostalgia, and character-driven storytelling. The show sets a strong foundation by delving into the complicated relationship between Seung-hyo and Seok-ryu, childhood acquaintances with a shared history that’s equal parts endearing and cringe-worthy. The episode does a great job balancing comedy with deeper themes, particularly when it comes to Seok Ryu’s sudden return to Korea and the mysterious reasons behind her life upheaval. The slapstick humor, especially during the chaotic family scenes, is well-executed and keeps the tone light-hearted.However, the episode’s pacing could have been tighter, particularly during the scenes that switch between Seok-ryu’s interactions with Seung-hyo and her more reflective moments. While the comedic elements are a strong point, the episode occasionally feels like it’s trying to juggle too many tones, which may leave viewers unsure of the show’s direction. Despite this, the chemistry between the lead characters and the nostalgic flashbacks to their childhood create a promising dynamic that hints at both tension and growth. The episode ends on a note that effectively teases the chaos and drama to come, making it a solid start to the series.
The way everything is displayed for a perfect, fun and cahotic drama got me in for the rest of this series already!!You have everything already explained, why the story starts, the past relationships, the posible future ones, the characters seem so likable and the comedy is peak. This might be one of the best dramas in the last few years, and i hope it does not dissapoint :))
It was really entertaining because this is a very important trope (childhood friends to lovers) so you have to be very careful with it because there is a clear line in this trip between perfection and cringe. I'm absolutely LOVING it tho, hae in is A M A Z I N G as always and so min is GORGEOUS ✨ and they both have this playfulness to them that is just perfect for best friends and I'm so excited to see how it goes <333
I love the episode for how it's started! I saw a different character played by jung hae in and jung so min. Both are so funny when they're bickering. But I can see, it seems hae in character like so min character first. I'm exited for the next episode!
I like both the leads so I was already excited! So glad to see the chemistry chemistrying. The supporting characters also quite entertaining. It started off a bit slow but evened out and peaked by the end. I found myself laughing at everyone's reactions of them finding out that she broke off her engagement. The cast is doing well! Can't wait for the next episode
Great start. Jung Somin was definitely born to act and she is wonderful in comedy. Haein is also great in his role. Looking forward to the second episode. I like that in this first episode many characters appear at once.It is still early to evaluate Ost.
