THE ACTORS CHEMISTRY!!!!! ?
I'm a kdrama binge watcher it helps me forget my regular stressful life. And I watch all kinds of kdrama from horror to romantic. This kdrama reminds me of doom at your service. At the beginning it's all a transaction between both protagonist but slowly it turns into real love. Yes it's a kind of deja vue, but I can say this one had all kinds of styles it had mystery, fantasy, romance but also comedy which I found myself giggling and laughing like a school girl. I loved how depending on a life situation you and anyone would make a deal with a demon if it could turn your life around for the better !. Yes it's all cliche, but I think you will find that in everything from tv series to movies now a days the ideas are often recycled and cliche it's just how the actors deliver it that makes a difference and here they deliver well. You can feel the connection the love between the protagonist, you can almost touch it you can relate to some situations and almost want to sign that contract I sure would!i enjoyed it.This kdrama is amazing. It has literally everything fantasy, comedy, romance, suspense, mystery and even more. The plot is also very good too, i highly recommend this kdrama!! The actors are very good and it has an interesting story n stuff. Every episode had something shocking and none of them were boring which i really liked. The chemistry between kim yoo jung and song kang is so undeniable too!! This kdrama is like an enemies to lovers thing i love it sm. The OST is also very nice and good in my opinion, also the KISS SCENESSS THEY DIDNT COME HERE TO PLAY WITH THE KISS SCENES OMLLL no one is talking ab the kiss scenes bro like in most kdramas their lips barely even touch but THIS kdrama had amazing kiss scenes. I rate this kdrama a 10/10 fsfs!!
All I can say this drama is a masterpiece ,story line is so refreshing the all actors and actresses are excellent they played very well in there characters .. the visual fx i so amazing my mouth is open every time I saw something new ..the song gives goosebumps everytime I listened ...what great work ..so happy they gave use the Happy ending that Songkang and kimyoojung they deserved and us viewers that we deserved .... so sad that Mydemon end this week no more sleepless nights on Friday and Saturday after work..Best kdrama 2024 My Demon .. congratulations to all involved in this beautiful drama all your hard work paid off.

Two Childhood So-Called Enemies Reunite
The first episode of the all-new series introduces viewers to a delightful blend of humor, nostalgia, and character-driven storytelling. The show sets a strong foundation by delving into the complicated relationship between Seung-hyo and Seok-ryu, childhood acquaintances with a shared history that’s equal parts endearing and cringe-worthy. The episode does a great job balancing comedy with deeper themes, particularly when it comes to Seok Ryu’s sudden return to Korea and the mysterious reasons behind her life upheaval. The slapstick humor, especially during the chaotic family scenes, is well-executed and keeps the tone light-hearted.However, the episode’s pacing could have been tighter, particularly during the scenes that switch between Seok-ryu’s interactions with Seung-hyo and her more reflective moments. While the comedic elements are a strong point, the episode occasionally feels like it’s trying to juggle too many tones, which may leave viewers unsure of the show’s direction. Despite this, the chemistry between the lead characters and the nostalgic flashbacks to their childhood create a promising dynamic that hints at both tension and growth. The episode ends on a note that effectively teases the chaos and drama to come, making it a solid start to the series.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Soooo good ! Their chemistry is lit ?
usually don't go around writing reviews, but man, this movie? It's a solid 10 on my scale (and trust me, I'm a tough critic - nothing ever gets a perfect 10 in my book except for this). So, I walked into the theater with zero expectations, right? But this film turned out to be an absolute riot, way beyond what I thought it would be. I lost count of how many times I busted out laughing, and it wasn't just me - the whole theater was in stitches. The story threw some curveballs that I never saw coming, and the creativity in those unexpected moments? Genius.
Let's talk about the main cast, Kang Ha-neul and Jung So-min - they killed it. The chemistry between them? Off the charts. And the other folks in the cast weren't slouching either - everyone held their own. Big shoutout to the director and the writers, too - they nailed it.
If you're in the mood for a good laugh and a dash of romance, seriously, check this one out. And get this - I'm usually all about horror, but even with that background, I can vouch for this film. It's like a universal crowd-pleaser, breaking through genres and giving you the perfect mix of humor and romance. Don't miss it!

A very qualified and sweet modern drama
EARLY REVIEW -Let me start off by saying I am loving the show so far....There is nothing wrong with it. I love the pace, love the cinematography. Love how good the dialogue is and how realistic the scenes are. The story is intriguing and chemistry is more than what I could ask for.
But hear me out, I have a problem with the characterizations. Especially the FL. She seems a bit..2D. The initial scenes where she books a hotel and says "I'm the mature one" made me think I have a lot to look forward to, only to be disappointed by what happened in almost every scene afterwards. She seems like a pretty, rich, protected girl who couldn't get a thing done on her own or have a thought of her own. I genuinely don't see her taking a decision about anything. She seems like the girl who acts pretty dumb and leads on every single guy and accepts every other act of love, only to leave them in the end for a better option. She verbally never confirmed the relation, whereas the poor ML flaunts her as his girlfriend everywhere he goes. When her friend asks "How is it gonna work long distance" she pretty much says "she didn't think about it" which is idk something a clueless school girl would say. She has no idea where it is going and mind you she is at a point in her life where she is figuring out her career.
I have some irks about the ML too. Like how has he never approached a girl before but brings his A game to the table? He almost acts cocky, like a person must have lived with a girl to gain such kind of confidence with those
I have watched till Episode 8 and my reaction started to change too.
Yes, it has been mostly nice so far but I am having trouble with the fact that they show the main leads as one-true-love but but… there is no strong basis for any of it. The leads have barely talked to each other. There has not been one decent conversation between them on ANY topic.
It still feels too ‘young love’ to me where it is all about chemical attraction. Why do you both like other so much? First couple of episodes, I was okay with it but in episode 7-8, the guy is constantly trying to touch her (which okay.. I get that you are madly attracted to her… and she seems into you) but she keeps running away and ya all have not really talked about ANYTHING. Please try to actually have a conversation.
Also, the guy is supposed to be shy and severe and the girl, too young and inexperienced but they are 27 and 21. Not that young. It is a bit hard to watch them behave like teenagers. It feels a bit inconsistent.
I think I would have even been okay if there wasn’t the constant…’I can’t help but lean in to try to kiss you’!
FINAL REVIEW -
A very qualified and sweet modern drama, I feel it's surpassing even the sweetness portrayed in the novel.
Especially the male lead Wu Lei, embodies my ideal type with his starry eyes, and captivating jawline, despite his youthfulness, he exudes a strong sense of masculinity.
Both leads deliver very stable performances that are both sweet and convincing. The plot avoids excessive melodrama and unnecessary separations to ensure audience satisfaction; it is a very decent drama.
Particularly noteworthy is Wu Lei's transformation into a truly sexy and charming character as he matures throughout the drama. His tender affectionate gaze towards the female lead deeply immerses me in their love story! He portrays an enamored boyfriend who longs for possession of his beloved woman.

This is my take on the drama I’ve got a lot to say about it, just to be clear this is my own opinion and I understand everyone won’t agree and have different opinions especially since I know others have attempted to watch this drama and found it boring and sure I get it but for me I absolutely loved it. The cinematography was my kind of aesthetic and the songs were giving melancholy but it also gave the feeling of peace at the same time. Ever since the first episode I was hooked and I never found it boring in fact I found it intriguing. To me it felt so organic and real mainly because of the main character/s and their story. I’ve read on a reddit post someone said it felt more like a character study than a K-Drama and I agree. To me it felt so different from the K-Dramas I watch that it felt like a breath of fresh air apart from the several love interests introduced in the drama for the male lead and some cliches. The reason why I agree that this drama is more of a character study is because it mostly centres around Doona (of course it’s the name of the series) and who she is, it shows her past, her struggles, the problems she faces and how it has affected her negatively. However that’s not the main reason why I was so intrigued in the first place. I was interested because the drama tackles mental health issues and mentions the abuse Korean Idols go through within the industry, it shows awareness and it’s one of the reasons why the actress of Doona (played by Bae Suzy, I love her) picked up the role because she related to the character. Now aside from all that I enjoyed and deeply loved Doona and Won-Jun’s (Yang Se-Jong) love story, there was amazing chemistry between the main leads in my opinion and they did a fantastic job portraying their characters. I love their relationship dynamic in the show where they come from two different worlds, a soft hearted, innocent and serious boy in university meets a famous Korean idol who puts on a tough exterior but is actually broken and struggles with mental health. He fell for who she is and didn’t try to “fix” her, he was always there for her and became her safe place and she needed someone that just loved her for who she was. Whilst Doona fell for how genuinely good and sincere he was, he was different to the people she met in her life and Won-Jun needed someone who was bold and got him to loosen up, they were a perfect fit. For me this show really hit the spot and it’s definitely my favourite K-Drama in 2023, it’s definitely high on my list. Regardless of the ending which for me was a good ending and quite realistic, at first I wasn’t sure what to feel all I know is everyone should take it easy on idols, with media nowadays they aren’t given the freedom they deserve as human beings and aren’t even given the right to date the person they like without a camera in their face or being judged and hated for it.
Anyways I should probably stop I still have a lot to say but I’ll just say this, if you think this is your type of show to watch based on what I’ve mentioned then of course I highly recommend you to watch it but if it’s not, then don’t waste your time.

So light hearted drama ? Must watch it
How Adorable! A feel good romance! I really enjoyed watching this! It was a all new cast for me and their chemistry was so cute!! I'll have to go see what else they star in. This is a lighthearted, funny romance with absolutely no angst or over the top drama, It was really rather refreshing. Sometimes it's nice to watch something without going through an emotional rollercoaster. This drama gives all the butterflies of a sweet first love. I couldn't get enough of the main couple, they were so awkward and then once they decided to confess their feeling all the akwardness melted away and they became something so beautiful. I definitely recommend this sweet little bit-sized romance, it will make you remember or give you butterflies!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
A Hopeful Tale of Love and Escape Triumphs Against Insurmountable Odds
This movie offers a compelling narrative that intertwines the destinies of its protagonists amidst the backdrop of adversity and the pursuit of redemption. Through the arduous journey of Loh Ki-wan from North Korea to Belgium, the film explores themes of resilience, love, and the human spirit’s capacity to endure. Despite occasional departures from realism, the emotional resonance of the story remains intact, captivating audiences with its engaging plot and heartfelt performances. While grappling with technical shortcomings, the film’s central message of hope and resilience shines through, leaving viewers with a profound sense of reflection and empathy for the struggles of refugees. My Name Is Loh Kiwan stands as a testament to the power of love to transcend barriers and illuminate the darkest corners of the human experience

I think it was really good series <3
I think it was really good series <3The drama made me think soo much for every minute I was watching. The tensions between the main leads (wi ha joon, ji Chang wook , Im se mi, Bibi) it was really interesting and thrilling. This series really has a good story line , although you will think it pretty obvious but actually it wasn't!
The show was mostly focused on the development between our undercover officer junmo and the drug dealer jung gi cheol which is really nice to watch ...
The action scenes were just Chef's Kiss , they were soo nicely directed and acted cuz while watching the bloody scenes I was feeling soo tensed therefore it didn't got me bored also ...
I would recommend this drama to the people who like to watch action scenes and yes this drama will teach you the real meaning the word 'Betrayal'
SPOILER ALERT (READ THIS ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE WATCHED THE DRAMA) I think people are targeting the female lead too much but why don't they see that junmo was also helping Lee hae ryeun to escape the country. And also the ending where people thought that the divorce scene was unnecessary but it was really important as they should pay for their sins for playing with someone's heart then it doesn't matter what your job is !!
I really enjoyed this drama, if you love JCW then you should definitely give it a try ?

Good if u want only romance!!
Absolutely loveddddd this k-drama so much!!!!!! I was SHOOK by the chemistry of the main leads, and I loved the whole plot of the show itself too, as well as the costuming and sets throughout the show!!!! There was one part of the show that I didn't like which was showing some kind of temple, but thankfully there was no worship or things like that in any of the scenes. Aside from that, this show has suddenly become my top favorite k-drama, and definitely one of my top 3 favorite shows ever (including c-dramas and k-dramas)!!!!! I also really liked the other main characters (the 2 female friends and their storylines, as well as the 2 males and their contributions to the storyline of the show)! The friendship between Gu Won and No-shik (his assistant/friend) was so funny, entertaining, lighthearted, and wonderful comedy relief at certain points haha. Also, the character development of Gu Won was SO GOOD, start to finish he's almost like two different people (his character grew so well in maturity and leadership by the end, and Gu Won did an excellent job at acting as both versions of his character!!!). There was also noticeable character growth by the other characters too which was very nice to see over the course of the show. Another thing I liked a lot is that the friendship between all 6 main characters was so sweet!!!!! The main female lead and her 2 female friends had a very sweet (and funny) friendship group, and as the male characters got integrated into the friend group it remained very sweet with even moreeee comedy lol!!!! I always love a romantic comedy, and this one just had SO. Many. Points. of romance and comedy, sometimes separate and sometimes combined, and I loved nearly all of them!!!!! I am so grateful I had the chance to watch this show partly while it was still airing (I started watching when a lot of episodes had been released, but still had to wait patiently for the last 4). Those cliff hangers really left me anticipating and waiting for the next episodes to release which is such a crazy experience!!!!! Typically I end up watching popular shows way after the fact lol, but I'm happy I was a part of the excitement this time!!!! Also side note, the actors that played the characters really do seem like fun and genuine people in real life which made the show even more enjoyable and sweet!!!! You can easily tell they get along well in real life and it just translates very clearly in the dynamics of their characters and friendships/relationships!!! Aaaaaaa I definitely lovedddd this show and I'm sad it ended, but I'm really glad I got to watch it, and I can't wait until the time when I definitely go back to re-watch in the future!!!!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
One of the best kdrama !!
TWINKLING WATERMELON is one of the best Kdramas of all time in every aspect. Well, this is my first time writing a review!! I've come across many beautiful dramas but this drama has my whole heart because it was so comforting. The way this drama portrayed each character and their emotions was just mind-blowing. From start to end, it got me on the edge of my seat, and the character development was just WOW. You will feel like you're a part of the drama where you giggle wholeheartedly, weep like a child, and feel sad and happy with every moment. I felt a mixture of emotions while watching this show but it felt comfortable, soothing, and warm inside. Kudos to the cast and crew for coming up with this beautiful drama. The screenplay and the narration of the story were just fantastic. Ryeoun (Eun-gyeol) carried the whole show to the next level with his natural and nuanced acting. He was soo cute in every way. I enjoyed Ryeon and Choi Hyun-Wook's screen time. This father-son chaotic duo made every episode funny and beautiful with their versatile acting. Choi Hyun-Wook (Ha Yi-chan) will be my favorite character of all time. He showed how to turn someone's shortcomings into something really beautiful with his outstanding delivery of emotions. I've never seen any of Shin Eun-soo (Cheong-ah) dramas, this is my first show and I was stunned to see her performance. Though she was deaf and dumb in the whole drama, her twinkling eyes spoke every emotion that can't be described with words. Whenever she smiles, you'll feel her joy, whenever she cries, you'll feel her sorrow and her silence will shatter your heart. Mother-son duo screen time will break and mend your heart at the same time for sure. The endearing love between Omma and appa, and Ajussi and ajumma will make your heart flutter. Seol In-ah's (Choi Se-kyung / On Eun-yoo) chemistry with Ryeoun was at top notch. Seol In-ah did a great job with her acting and showed that everyone has flaws and struggles in their life and that ending our life is not the only solution. Though the ending was bittersweet, it was the perfect ending that we all wanted. It ended with the note that everything happens for a reason, hold on there, and live your life to the fullest without pondering over the things.? WATERMELON SUGAR....VIVA LA VIDA ?

It's an incredible drama !!!
A Time Called You is an incredible drama and it is very hard to express it in words, no review can make you feel how good this drama is, you have to watch this drama to feel the emotions. It constantly surprises you and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I tried to predict what would happen, but the story always had unexpected twists. The number of surprises in this drama is thrilling, and I couldn't stop watching it. I binge-watched each episode back-to-back, and it was like a roller coaster ride.I hadn't seen the Taiwanese version, so the Korean adaptation was entirely new to me. I was so curious about what would happen next, it's a roller coaster of past, present, and the past's future.
Jeon Yeo-been was amazing, playing two look-alike roles, Jun Hui and Min Joo. Her acting was terrific, she literally made me hate one character and love the other character, I literally was annoyed with the same actress when she played Min Joo but loved her when she was playing Jun Hui. Actor Ahn In Syeop was also fantastic, Loved both his characters Yeon Jun and Nam Si Hyeon. I fell in love with his acting. Ahn In Syeop and Rowoon, as Yeon Jun and who made the most of their short screen time. Loved how professional they are, Rowoon's guest appearance was one the best part of the show.
This drama exceeded my expectations. I loved the plot, the cast, the direction, and the cinematography. Although it might seem a bit confusing at first to few people, but as the story progresses, everything becomes clear. I was hooked from the first episode and couldn't sleep until I finished it.
If you haven't seen the Taiwanese version, I highly recommend watching the Korean 'A Time Called You.' It's a captivating, swoonworthy, emotional, in a way mysterious, and thrilling drama that you'll love. It's full of surprises, and you'll fall in love with all the characters (obviously except the villain). It's a must-watch drama!

Doctor slump: Overcoming a Slump Together
The finale is finally here and the Kdrama has given us the ending that is most suitable for the Jeong-Ha couple that remains playful and therapeutic right until the end. The show has given us some beautiful and motivating scenes along with a couple that brought us this vibe in the best way possible. Finally, we have all found our perfect landing after this rollercoaster and all we know now is the happiness experienced through this show.

This episode showed some more sides of the couple along with an unexpected romance for Tae-seon, but it also brought in the growth that every character is still going through, reminding us that there is no end to one’s growth. With this, the neverending story of the Jeong-Ha couple and those around them continues while telling us that this is not the end but a new beginning.

Its very soft and chilling
This is the best written show I have watched with focus on every single character. The writers have done exceptional job in writing the story and at times goosebumps inducing scenarios which relate to one another in complete unexpected way.One more best part in the story was that the seriousness and dark mode never lasted long and when it did, it faded away with the best climax I have watched. The ending of the story is beautifully and leisurely written which just warms your heart.
Each and every actor and their characters are awesome as they are done justice on till the end.
And how could I not appreciate the lead female, AJI 3(robot), or Jo Ji A, is beautiful both as human and as the Robot from the start.
It's a heart warming series from start till the end which will make you laugh and cry.
Authors are genius to have written such an amazing series. No! It's not the plot that is fascinating.
It's the little details. Every show I watch, I wish I could see a character's reaction for a certain moment. And this one Korean series fulfilled my wishes.
This series has goosebumps inducing authors, amazing directors and the most beautiful actors.
Minor spoiler - The Climax with meteor shower would be the most beautiful part, which I loved as an author and as an audience. It's genius and beautiful.
End of spoiler.
Thank you for this show, and especially, I would like to thank and suggest every director to direct such shows with such ending where we are left with one or two episodes with heart warming smiles and laughter.
And to the people who wrote positive reviews here, thank you. And to those who are reading, just please do watch this show and have a beautiful life.
Do not miss an opportunity to love, and I hope you all find people who would heal your heart.
