Sweet but inconsistent story of 5 ‘Ploys’
This show actually started off quite strong in the first few episodes, and then went steadily downhill in the middle, only to have a fairly strong finishThe good:
1. The cast had really strong friendship chemistry for the most part. I believed it when the Ploys hung out and the boys hung out that these were people who knew and liked each other, had fun together and had a history together. I also liked Thapchana and Pretty Ploy’s friendship, Mek and Prof’s, etc.
2. The romantic chemistry was also good to great for 3/5 of the couples. Pretty Ploy and Mek were cute, Plain Ploy and Pimai were steady and mature, Prez Ploy and Thap were all adult yearning
Opportunities for improvement:
1. Prof Ploy and Khram’s story just did not warrant as many episodes as they got. Their story got increasingly silly (dead dad, dead mom, baby trapping, gangsters!) and the back to back of their story and Punk Ploy and Tawan’s really killed the show’s momentum. I also still don’t understand why Tawan likes Punk Ploy as her episodes showed there is very little that is likable about her character
2. The editing doesn’t work. Flashbacks work best when used sparingly and smartly. When every other scene is a flashback it pulls you out of the story. And even with all the flashbacks, there was still too much telling and not enough showing
Overall, there are definitely episodes I will be revisiting, but there was a lot of missed opportunity by production to properly use their talent

It could be better
Well... I have mixed feelings with this serie.First of all, I like the concept and the idea to introduce us a group of friends and multi-pairings / couples. It was indeed quite interesting and heartwarming.
I'm sorry I won't be able to share my impressions on each stories because I just wanted to share my general view and it left me a bit disappointed and frustrated.
I think it was not well balanced, I'm ok with the flashback and when they tend to choose to show one couple and then another couple however, it was like not that I would expect. Maybe I had high expectations when I first saw the trailer and I'm a bit nitpicky? Who Knows? But I couldn't be that invested in their story (I'm scared to say it's a bit bland) and there's also some immature characters or annoying character that don't help either. Sometimes it didn't even make sense but I let it go.
I don't mind when it has some flaws but here, the feeling of being disappointed is quite strong. It could be better and I could give it a 10 but no, I have to lower my rating. Even the chemistry, the acting and the fact it has a good casting and eye-candy, it didn't save the serie in general.
However I do appreciate their friendship dynamic, it's sometimes relatable and I also think some couple deserved better for the development of their story (as I said earlier). In addition it's like wasting their potential because each couple have their own charm and chemistry. It was still nice and somehow entertaining but honestly, I won't watch it again.
The other positive thing, the OST especially sung by Aye Sarunchana is really beautiful to listen.

a chaotic mess
a show about 5 girls named ploy with each ploy's story adapted from 5 different stories. its as messy as it sounds.why does gmmtv take up projects like this if they are not going to put any money in it? u have so many incredible women in the cast, from main characters to side characters, yet u don't use any of them properly??????
i have multiple problems with the plot and pacing:
1. the yearbook mix-up only affected like 2 of the ploys, why did they make it such a focal point of the series, especially punk ploy being so mad abt it when it did not affect her
2. the girls weren't close as grown-ups other than prof and prez so a lot of the friendship moments felt forced
3. the guys, don't get me started, they were so hypocritical. like mek and thap were so mad at prez and pretty for 'cheating' but they could get along fine even though they thought the girls were dating the other?? even their hangouts were weird. u don't show them together as friends in their high school days, but in the last few episodes, they were suddenly friend group? they didn't even show pi as a part of the group until the plot moved on to plain ploy.
4. pretty and mek's story was the most interesting but they rushed to finish that in 3 episodes so it felt very bland.
5. kram was such a plain character, his name should be plain. all his decisions were dumb, im not even an actor and i could tell all his decisions were bad pr for both of them.
6. WHAT IS THIS SHOW'S OBSESSION WITH ALMOST SIBLINGS DATING EACH OTHER?!?!? kram being adopted by prof's mom, punk and tawan being adopted siblings?!?!?? i can pretend to ignore prof and kram cause they knew each before he was adopted and they were kind of grown when it happened but punk and tawan??!?!? he was brought into their family as her brother and they date?!?!?!?!
7. everything with tawan's ex-wife was a big mess im not even saying anything.
8. i will always be a punk ploy defender. i would be pissed too if my parents brought a random guy and said he is your brother, deal with him.....she was the funniest character here. her and pretty's silly fights were cute. they could have done tawan and punk differently. like punk's father is tawan's role model or something and punk being jealous and when the parents die they leave the gym to him, that would give proper reason for her anger.
9. the whole divorce thing with plain was also messy and didn't make sense, like which court operates like this??
10. thap and prez's story had potential but just like pretty and mek, they rushed everything into a few episodes so it was messy.
11. thap,punk and kram were shown as good friends in the flashbacks in the last episodes, but they don't seem to interact when they are grown up so???? feels like they were doing whatever with the script
12. im really disappointed that they didn't try to make the friend group thing genuine, it seemed fun in the last episodes.
they could have made this a bit better if all the things were happening around the same time instead of one by one. the highschool flashbacks could have been shown in order than putting random parts here and there, thap asking to date prez from the first reunion and finally getting together at the end etc etc
the costume/makeup department did well, you could feel the difference from when they were in high school to adulthood.
the prez vs punk moments were so funny to me, i remember namtan and film's insta stories showing bts where they are all lovey-dovey with each other
im glad i get to see them play adults, i was so tired seeing many of these actors play highschool students over and over.

Overall I enjoyed the series. It's nothing to write home about but I liked the cast and the storyline for the most part. Of course they added some unnecessary drama for dramas sake shenanigians but if you want something light, fun and not too deep this is the ticket. I don't really watch many Thai shows but this was fun and the character I thought I would hate, Pretty Ploy ended up being my favorite character on the series. Actress Punpun Sutatta Udomsilp was so great as Pretty Ploy and as annoying as she was in the first few episodes she was the glue that held the friend group together and she always had the friends backs. What I loved the most was that they each of the Ploy's had a happy ending. I don't always advocate for that but for this series it was all I really wanted!

Ploy's Yearbook is a bad fanfic come to life
Ploy's Yearbook hit all the cliches of bad fanfics.I’ve only seen 7 episodes and was going to wait and finish to give my review but if all of the couples are going to resolve their problems in a similar fashion then it’s pointless.
I had zero tolerance for this series; the more I forced myself to sit through their ‘reasonings’ the more I wanted to pull out my hair. Even at 5x speed, this series doesn’t get any easier to watch. My biggest issue is I had high expectations for this show because of the talented cast and new pairings but it was a big bust.
Let's pretend it makes sense that none of the 10 mains cared or noticed that the phone numbers were incorrect after 10 years, it doesn't make sense to blame ONE Ploy for it when all of them worked on it. This series makes less and less sense the more I watch it.
How did Mek, who was tutoring Pretty Ploy not have her number? Why didn’t Kram have Prof’s number when they’ve lived together for a while?? It’s funny that the Yearbook is more of a phonebook. How can all these supposedly close peers not have each other’s numbers after 3-4 years? If this was my friend group, I’d rather not have friends.
I love the actors but not the characters. They’re all poorly written in stupid ways. What’s worse is this is a character-driven series and when the characters suck, there’s very little hope for the overall show. This series is simply a side project for these well-known actors to do in between large projects. I’ve never seen good and decent actors perform more badly. Bunch of robots. Even the actors seemed bored in the Behinds. Whoever wrote and directed this had no grasp of who and how the characters should be. The characters’ emotions do not fit the weight of the situation. Despite their different backgrounds and characteristics, they all share the same level of lower intelligence. All of Kram’s decisions up to episode 7 make sense if this was a bad fanfic. Prof Ploy is praised as the smartest because otherwise, she wouldn’t have chosen such a heroic man–she’s yet to impress me with her higher intelligence. The characters’ dialogue is middle-school level at best.
Don’t get me started on Prof bragging about manipulating Kram into marrying her and then acting like the victim when she, not him, SHE thought he didn’t agree to it out of love. Seriously! Someone, please shoot me (side rant: Why did Mek casually grab and deliver the drinks for them as if they’ve just magically appeared and no one might have left them after eavesdropping? Is Mek really the nerd?).
I don’t understand how the show’s biggest attraction is to have a group of adults in their late 20s, early 30s blame and rely on one woman to fix their lives. Lives that don’t need fixing. Except for the lack of a lover, the characters are well off and have time to socialize and hang out with old high school acquaintances. It’s even more cringy that they are counting on Prez Ploy to fix their LOVE lives.
Istg this series was trying to set the record for the most pointless flashbacks. Sadly it backlashed more than anything as the flashbacks exposed the inconsistency of high school and were only used to support moments in the present. As the series’ flashbacks progressed, characters that didn’t hang out in high school suddenly did, and characters that weren’t close suddenly were.
I’ve always loathed it when GMM brings in guns and/or action. They need to hire action choreographers because their action scenes are way too unserious. Takes me out of the moment.
The only way for me to complete this series is if someone were to put a gun to my head. As much as I love the actors, I cannot put up with lackluster writing and horrible execution. If the creative team in charge of this series doesn’t care then why should I?
Overall score was a 4 but I'm taking out .5 pts for Prof and Kram testing my sanity. And Thap needs to get over it or get out of Prez's life.

Interesting premise even with a quite simple plot idea. Despite all five characters being 'Ploy', they are all vastly different, and played by very talented actresses. After gmmtv gave us so many BL series, it's refreshing to watch some male actors interact with women again.The only negative thing is that it's difficult to believe these characters are in high school, since they're all played by already grown up adult actors. But after all, it's just flashbacks so it's forgivable.

Storyline is too bland
Tbh the storyline is too blandToo much school scenes where by it’s a story about five grown up women how they suffer and deal with lives but to be honest all I see is just keep on flash back to school scenes
It’s kinda annoying
And not much sparkles between the pairs
So if you ask me will I pay subscription fees or will I purposely watch it ?
The Answer is no
Because this kind of story is too. Common in bg series
And furthermore the storyline is quite childish to adults viewers but too old fashioned for younger audiences
In term of the script so even with good acting actors and actresses it did not really get good viewerships on official platforms
And another thing is that why people watch TikTok videos because it is focus of their favourite
And actually hundreds thousands or millions views on TikTok is not a very big deal for normal videos unless it’s YouTube it’s considered as good because now it’s hard to get views on YouTube
So marketing can’t base on TikTok views as a end convention for the overall ratings for this series because it is not really accurate
And instead of complaining on public I think the production team should try to find out what’s wrong with this series and improve on next project and not complain on public
Every production team does series also face a lot of pressure not only you
