A series worth of feelings
This is a gentle, beautiful story of two high school girls and their feelings for each other. The lead actresses co-wrote and directed it. They're a couple in real life and their connection as friends and life partners shines through. It was lovely to spend some time with these engaging and charismatic characters.The writing on this is very clever. They were able to work a lot into the 38 minutes without it feeling rushed or incomplete. There's more of Mar & Lei's story to tell, but this was enough. Whether Ward and Klio return to these characters or start something new, I hope these talented writers/directors/actors have many more opportunities to share their vision and talent with us.

Simple yet beautiful
I adored this. A short and sweet sapphic film which wasn't high budget but still captured my heart. Do judge for yourself though, everyone likes different things! However, this is a 10/10 in my heart for the feelings I got from it. I'll admit, I'm a bit biased, but I've tried to judge this in a more objective way.STORY:
It's pretty simple, revolving around a few characters and events, but it's effective in making me love the characters. While it's relatively predictable, it was comfortable to watch and even brought me to tears by the end.
ACTING:
Presumably the actors were mostly amateur, but they still did a great job all round. I don't tend to notice acting unless it's really bad or off though so you might find it different. Lei's actress Ward especially impressed me with an emotional scene near the end!
MUSIC:
I enjoyed the music but it wouldn't have hurt if there was a bit less of it.
REWATCH VALUE:
I tend to rewatch things for comfort, and while I rarely go past my set few comfort dramas, I definitely would consider this to rewatch as a short and sweet sapphic story coming in at just under 40 minutes! :D

A joyous roller-coaster ride
Oh but I adore this little indie production.I have a weak spot for that inimitable shoe-string budget charm a lot of these small projects bring to the table and this film is an excellent example of why that's the case. You can tell how much love and effort was put into every single aspect of the movie and that passion is what makes it shine.
The story covers more ground than quite a few full-length shows do but the pacing is well done and the individual performances are all so excellent they lend a feeling of authenticity to the story that I greatly enjoyed.
I hope to see more from these film-makers in the future but for now I am more than happy to simply watch and rewatch this little gem ad nauseum.
