Well, I personally didn't think that I would watch a medical drama twice (because of season 2)but it gave me a push to watch it. The plot is amazing and you could see the big improvement which is awesome. I love the actors especially KONDO! He totally gave some spices. Daimond is soooo cool and so is her manager. (I sometimes call him Melon ji san)
Overall it was greatt!

Frankly, I enjoyed this drama, but I like the first season much more compared to this one. I say, the major theme of this drama, just like many medical dramas, is about what I would like to term as "hospital politics."
Onto the story, I would say it doesn't get boring, but I find many characters simply annoying and irritating. If you went through the story, I think you would find who this really irritating characters are that deserves to have a punch in the face. Anyways, good plot I suppose. (the ending totally rocks!) Many though not all characters showed good development throughout the series. The show presented good values especially in relation to the medical profession. There are also some cheap under-the-table-tricks-to-climb-the-social-ladder issues presented and that might just be true in the real setting. What makes this story interesting for me is that, it is highly medically-themed & find me weird but I do enjoy the different surgeries and the medical terms and conditions presented throughout the drama. They seemed unrealistic (but when I googled it, it suprises me they are realistic really!) The second factor I enjoyed in the story is Daimon's personality. Very strong personality. I like it when she interacts with other "no-good" doctors, I just love how they would make an expression in their face when Daimon aggregates them. I also like the melon-grandpa.Very cute and cunning.
The acting was nicely put. I can see some overreactions but so far, the acting satisfies me.
The music was so-so, I guess I haven't really focused much on the music but I think its there and also giving the atmosphere and the feels. :)
Re-watch value? Its not really a big re-watch value for me, It's the kind of series that can satisfy me enough just watching the first time around.
In conclusion, Good medical story. Awesome characters. Cool Actors/Actresses. Good Music. A nice watch.

The payoff in the final episode is worth watching this whole season.
Season 2 was not created just because Season 1 succeeded; in fact, season two had a purpose and delivered.
I also loved that it once again left the door opinion for a third season which is nice. I am going to continue watching the series until I find the answer to question, how much does she owe in debt?
I will not debate if this season was better or worse than season 1 because it continued the of Doctor X which is what it was suppose to do.
I also gave the cast a rating of ten because they played a vital role in this season's success and deserved nothing less.
Just watch the season 2 and pay attention to the supporting cast and you will see what I mean.
Season 3 here I come!

There are some things I like better about this season than it's predecessor, and there are some things I like better in the prequel. First of all, I really love the addition of Nishida Toshiyuki. He is hilarious and does not fail to deliver in his role at all. The other new characters I felt indifferent toward, and slight irritation, but they were alright. I liked the fact tht there was another female doctor besides Daimon, and tht she was in a position of power. And I really loved the character appearances from season 1, even if they were few and far between. And I think I may have enjoyed the surgeries and patients from this season more than the last.
Now the things I didn't really like about this season. I just don't understand how these characters never learn tht Daimon Michiko just never fails. Never. She proves her skill and expertise time and time again, yet the other characters continue fighting her on every single surgery. It's mind-blowing how they are still against her. It's actually kind of disappointing how the storyline is the same. It's still entertaining, but I probably would've rated this drama higher if they explored different aspects of the story. Like explain in further detail why the doctors known as Doctor X are considered evil (I just don't get tht), or more about her father, or how Akira lost his medical license, or a number of other things.
Again, I think tht this is a fantastic drama to marthathon. Despite the fact tht it's ttly unrealistic, Doctor X 2 is extremely hopeful, and I find tht so important in dramas. It's the main reason why I love this series. I think it's so cool tht Daimon has the ability to perform any surgery, no matter how crazy it is, and have it be a complete success. She's not just talking out her own ass when she says she never fails, and actually means it. It's empowering (especially for women) in a way, and it makes me want to work harder. Doctor X 2 is a good watch.
