Season: 1

Jae Yeol asks about the thing Hae Soo said she will tell him later. She tells him how she sold her mother to become a doctor. Hae Soo calls Young Jin to send the ambulance to take Jae Yeol. But Jae Yeol leaves when he receives a call from Kang Woo. Jae Yeol sees a car run over Kang Woo and he gets into an accident. Hae Soo and the ambulance arrive and sedate Jae Yeol. Turns out that, Jae Yeol after getting attacked by Jae Beom, unconsciously realized that his brother’s hatred would never go away unless he dies. And that is why he made the scenario of trying to save Kang Woo and dying, instead of killing himself. Jae Beom finally knows the truth about what really happened in the past. Dong Min shows the CCTV video to Jae Yul and his father’s case pictures. Dong Min tells Jae Yeol that Kang Woo is just an imagination, but Jae Yeol still thinks it is real. Hae Soo has a fight with her mother. Hae Soo meets Jae Yeol secretly, which cause him to relapse and see Kang Woo again. (Source: MyDramaList)

Revaltions and realtiy.

Revelations and reality. This was a potent episode, though I won't lie. Went it dragged it dragged, and I know it's important stuff. Even while I was breaking apart I couldn't help, but be bored. Sorry, I'm a fecal viewer.

That said I'm so happy that Hae Soo confided in Jae Yeol. The revelation helps to explain her personality so much more.

So Hae Soo is keeping her promise about telling everyone they broke up, but still secretly meet. It's a poignant thing.

To be honest I'm not sure how this will end. I feel like the drama itself it will feel good, but have a harsh reality to it.

We judge ourselves the most!

First off, Hae Soo's revelation at the beginning of the episode explains a lot. Her character makes much more sense to me now. Even her reaction to her mother makes more sense. This whole time, the one person she was judging and was troubled with wasn't her mom but herself. I still think if I had met her in real life I'd avoid befriending her, but this revelation made her relatable, and more real as a person.

Then comes Jae Yeol who just isn't capable with living with this much guilt. It's funny that when you look at it from afar, you'd think Jae Bum took the blame while his family went off living their life while the opposite is the truth at this point. Jae Yeol took all the blame and the guilt from both his mother and brother while Jae Bum survived on his hate towards Jae Yeol and his goal to kill him. He got the perfect opportunity to blame him for everything that went wrong in his life. While he did face injustice (a lot of it) we can't deny the fact that he was always violent and is selfish. I do feel sorry for him for feeling betrayed by his own family but his situation just fed his selfishness even more.

From these 2 leads I get the conclusion that the person the burden us the most and judges us the most is none other than ourselves.

Oh and wasn't Soo Kwang the cutest these past 2 episodes?

Last but not least, ogh GOD the acting was so good here. Even when I hated Hae Soo I admit Gong Hyo Jin was doing great with the character, so different from previous character she portrayed, and so on spot she is here. As for Jo In Sung I'm actually not that familiar with him but he was amazing in this episode.

There's only 2 episodes left and I wish this happened but earlier and we'd follow on his process of getting better (I'm sure thats the writer's intentions right?) :P

ACTING!

I love this drama. I have loved it from day one. Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin have amazing chemistry and they have both been killing it in this drama. I really care about acting quality. I can forgive a lot of other problems if a drama has 2 things: interesting / unique story and great acting. This episode had some truly exceptional acting from the whole cast, but Jo In Sung really knocked it out of the park. I've always loved him, and I feel that he is a pretty good actor, and sometimes his acting has even been really good. But he is so darn pretty that I think sometimes he (and this could be the fault of his directors too) he does too much just pretty posing rather than acting. But in this episode where he was totally torn down and beaten and had to act the part - WOW! He put on one of my favorite Kdrama acting performances of all time in this episode.
