This last episode ends the drama in a dramatic way. 20 dogs from the street have been infected with a virus that is also dangerous to human. Therefore, they need to be killed. Even though Hanabishi and his fellows fight against this decision, there seem to be no escape. Tottori is assigned to do the euthanasia. However, not only the 20 dogs can be resuced in the end, but also the family bonds of the Domon family as well as Hanabishi who starts his career as a vet anew.
