Welcome to another edition of: 30 minutes or Less; where the dramas are 30 minutes or less and the emotional attachment's are free.

Last time, I covered a few cute Halloween dramas to pass the time.

This Week's Theme: I'll cover a few Dark Halloween dramas.

1. Clone Baby23 minutes

In the game of clones, you either win or you die. It's only kill or be killed in this messed up confusing clone life.

This drama is fast-paced. You'll laugh at the dramatic acting, cry, be confused, and cry again. It's like Orphan Black but without the clone club.

2. Crow's Blood | 40 minutes

Kind of like mono, but when she kisses you, you turn into a psychopath with a bloody nose.

She's a high school student, part detective with the power of realizing things; like realizing the new transfer student is a monster, who wants to make the world a better place by killing everyone.

Yes, I know this one doesn't fit the description of 30 minutes or less. But in the spirit of Halloween, I decided to allow it.

AKB48 stepped up their game and budget, and probably got mixed up into some weird stuff this year. With the director of the Saw franchise, they really made this one unique. This is definitely one of those dramas you need to binge watch.

*Trigger warning: Gore; it's very gory.

3. Hyoryu Net Cafe | 24 minutes

During a storm, an Internet cafe disappears and reappears in a forest along with its visitors. A few episodes in, the people start to accept the fact they're not in Tokyo anymore and hope that they don't have to come back to reality any time soon.

If you've seen Long Love Letter, you might compare the two since they both have the same concept. They're both good dramas. This one seems more random than Long Love Letter.

4. Limit30 minutes

Survivors of a school bus crash try not to kill each other while waiting for help.

This drama is really good. It has a really nice cast and the acting is perfect. They did a really nice job portraying the manga series.

5. Nazo no Tenkousei30 minutes

High school students get caught up in some other world stuff when a robot from another dimension visits in search of helping his princess.

Half of this is confusing but it's also very beautiful. The ending is kind of thought provoking.

6. Shinigami no Ballad | 24 minutes

A shinigami with a heart of gold, giving people a heads up that death is coming. Together with her grumpy assistant, they break the status quo.

This one is a little bit sad, because - you know - it's about death. But it is also sweet.

7. xxxHolic26 minutes

It's kind of like the Japanese Harry Potter - kind of.

He's the chosen one that gets to see the supernatural; like Ghost. She's a witch, who can make him normal, but at the cost of him being her slave forever. With the help of his friends, they fight evil.

This drama is a good spooky one to enjoy.

8. Doll House7 minutes

In the words of Melanie Martinez:

"Places, places, get in your places
Throw on your dress and put on your doll faces.
Everyone thinks that we're perfect
Please don't let them look through the curtains."

A girl gets to stay in a house for free, with the exception that she has to pretend to the daughter of this deranged woman.

You could probably finish this one in an hour because it's short. It's also spooky and intriguing.

9. Nightmare Teacher | 15 minutes

A high school substitute teacher makes deals with his students, giving them anything they desire for the price of their soul.

It was a little confusing at the end, but it was a nice ride.

Until next time.
