MBC's Friday and Saturday drama "Big Mouth" continues to increase in ratings.
It was reported that the sixth episode finally achieved two-digit ratings. The sixth episode aired on August 13th, garnered a 10.8% nationwide rating (Nielsen Korea). This is the highest rating up to date for the drama.
"Big Mouth" started with a 6.2% rating. It got a 4.7% increase compared to when the drama started.
The series revolves around Park Chang Ho, a lawyer with a 10% winning rate. It is the latest work of directors Oh Choong Hwan and Bae Hyun Jin, and writers Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon.
The drama is led by Lee Jong Suk and Girls Generation's Im Yoon Ah. The supporting cast includes Yang Kyung Won, Kim Joo Heon, Ok Ja Yeon, Kwak Dong Yeon, and more.
"Big Mouth" is currently leading among the dramas that are airing on the same day. The drama will air its next episode on August 19. The drama has a total of 16 episodes. Global fans can watch the series through the OTT platforms, Disney+ and Viu.
This is the latest work of Lee Jong Suk after three years. After "Big Mouth," the actor will be part of the upcoming film "Decibel" with Kim Rae Won, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byung Eun, Lee Sang Hee, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, Jo Dal Hwan, Lee Min Ki, Nam Tae Hoon, Han Min Yeop, and Han Sang Kyung.
Meanwhile, the female lead Im Yoon Ah is active both in her acting and singing career. Aside from starring in "Big Mouth," she also returned as a Girls Generation member. They recently released their seventh studio album “FOREVER 1.” She is also active in appearing on several variety shows to promote the album.
