Ha Do Gwon will star in another new drama this year!

On June 24, it was officially confirmed by his agency that Ha Do Gwon will be part of the cast of the upcoming drama "Today's Webtoon." He will work as the head of the Neon Content Division which pressures the webtoon team to strengthen his position. This will be  Ha Do Gwon's fifth drama of in 2022. 

"Today's Webtoon" is the latest work of director Jo Soo Won ("Pinocchio" and "I Hear Your Voice") and writer Jo Hyun Joo. It will narrate the story of the happenings inside a webtoon industry office. It will showcase the growth and struggles of the office workers especially the new webtoon editor who was formerly a judo player. The series is a Korean remake of the Japanese drama "Juhan Shuttai!" (Sleepeeer Hit!).

Ha Do Gwon will portray the role named Huh Kwan Young, the head of the team whose one goal is to solidify his position at the company. 

The drama will be led by  Kim Se Jeong, Nam Yoon Su, Choi Daniel, Ko Chang Seok, Jang Sung Yoon, Highlight's Son Dong Woon, and Kim Gab Soo.

"Today's Webtoon" will be part of the Friday and Saturday drama timeslot of SBS. It will replace the series  "Why Her?" The series will air its first episode on July 29. 

This year, Ha Do Gwon is one of the busiest actors in the industry as he is slated to star in 5 dramas this year. He started 2022 with the drama "Through the Darkness" where he worked alongside leads Kim Nam Gil and Jin Seon Kyu. He then joined the series "A Superior Day" in one of the leading roles. 

Ha Do Gwon then simultaneously appeared in dramas "Sh**ting Stars" and "Bloody Heart." For "Sh**ting Stars," he appeared as a successful CEO of an artist company. Meanwhile in "Bloody Heart," he played as one of the servants of Jang Hyuk's character. 

Last year, the actor was also on a roll. He was part of the two seasons of "The Penthouse 2: War in Life" and he also starred in "The Witch's Diner." Ha Do Gwon also made a special appearance in the dramas "Nevertheless," and "Work Later, Drink Now."
