Rising actress Jeon Hye Won is confirmed to join the upcoming drama "The Queen's Umbrella."
On September 2nd, it was announced that Jeon Hye Won will be added to the cast of the upcoming tvN drama "The Queen's Umbrella." Jeon Hye Won will play the role of Cho Wol, a special friend of one of the princes in the palace.
"The Queen's Umbrella" will tell the journey of the queen that will transform his troublemaker sons into proper crown princes of the palace.
The series will be led by Kim Hye Soo, the queen of the palace and the mother to the troublesome sons named Im Hwa Ryeong. Other casts include Kim Hae Sook, Choi Won Young, Kim Eui Sung, Moon Sang Min, SF9's Chani, Ok Ja Yeon, Kim Ga Eun, Yoo Sun Ho, and more.
Jeon Hye Won will play as Cho Wol, the special friend of one of the princes who is also a versatile person with outstanding beauty and knowledge of literature.
The upcoming drama will be the collaboration work of director Kim Hyung Shik ("Twenty Again," "Secret Door," and "The Suspicious Housekeeper") and scriptwriter Park Bara.
"The Queen's Umbrella" will begin airing this coming October.
Jeon Hye Won made her acting debut in the short film "0000" in 2015. She is more known for being part of the dramas "Because This Is My First Life," "A Poem a Day," "True Beauty," "Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)," "Our Beloved Summer," "Love All Play," and more. She also starred in films such as "Just One Day" and "Champion."
The actress was last seen in the recently ended drama "Alchemy of Souls." She made a special appearance in the series and played the role named Ae Hyang.
