Rising actress Ji Hye Won will be joining the cast of the ongoing KBS K-drama My Perfect Stranger.
It was officially confirmed that Ji Hye Won will be part of the KBS series My Perfect Stranger. She will be working alongside Kim Dong Wook, Jin Ki Joo, Seo Ji Hye, Lee Won Jung, Lee Ji Hyun, and Lee Kyu Hoe.
My Perfect Stranger tells the story of a man and a woman who were tapped in 1987 after time traveling. Yoon Hae Joon time wants to know the truth about a serial murder case and Baek Yoon Young wants to stop her parents from marrying.
Ji Hye Won will play the role of Go Mi Sook. She will be seen in the 1987 era.
The actress shared her thoughts about joining the series, Ji Hye Won stated, "After receiving the script for My Perfect Stranger, I couldn't stop reading it. It gets interesting in every scene and I got curious about the characters."
Ji Hye Won also praised the K-drama and shared how she got affectionate with her character in the series. She also hoped that viewers will enjoy watching the series until the end.
My Perfect Stranger airs every Monday and Tuesday at 9:50 PM KST. The K-drama is also available on OTT platforms Viki and Wavve.
This will be the first K-drama of Ji Hye Won for the year.
The rising actress was last seen in the 2022 Netflix original K-drama The Sound of Magic. She worked alongside Ji Chang Wook, Choi Sung Eun, Hwang In Youp, Oh So Hyun, and Hong Jung Min.
Aside from My Perfect Stranger, Ji Hye Won will also join the cast of the upcoming K-drama Hierarchy. The series will be led by Roh Jeong Eui, Lee Chae Min, and Kim Tae Jung.
Ji Hye Won made her acting debut in 2019. She has been part of the K-dramas Justice, Dr. Romantic Season 2, and It's Okay to Not Be Okay.
