Due to an accident, Jang Dong Yoon was injured while filming his upcoming drama Joseon Exorcist which resulted in a temporary filming hiatus.
News outlets reported that the actor accidentally fell from his horse while filming for the SBS drama in the Damyang South Jeolla Province. The filming was suspended right after the incident occurred. He received emergency treatment at a nearby hospital and a more thorough examination the following day.
On December 30, SBS and his agency Dongyi Company assured fans and revealed the result of his thorough examination.
Thankfully the injury was not serious, only amounting to some bruises on his elbow. He will be taking some time off to completely recover before filming again.
