The main poster and trailer for The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call have been released.

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call follows Baek Kang Hyuk (Ju Ji Hoon), a genius surgeon who has performed surgeries even in the most chaotic conflict zones. He takes on the mission of leading an underfunded and sidelined trauma team at a university hospital.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the K-drama's spectacle and humor. The scene is set ablaze as Baek Kang Hyeok makes his entrance, saving lives with the flick of his scalpel, turning the Korean university hospital upside down. With outstanding skills and a personality to match, Baek Kang Hyeok has zero tolerance for compromise when it comes to carrying out his duties as a doctor.

"We're heading to the site," he says, flying in the air ambulance to the scene.

The suspicious actions of the hospital director, who delves into Baek Kang Hyeok's past, fuels curiosity about Baek's history. Will he be able to successfully revive the Trauma Center?

His remark, "Others couldn't have saved you. Do you understand what I'm saying?" and him shouting, "Shut up! Can't you see this patient is dying as you're spouting nonsense?", suggests he's the type of character who wouldn't stop at anything when it comes to saving patients.

The scene where Baek Kang Hyeok jumps from the helicopter, with Yang Jae Won (Choo Young Woo) screaming on his shoulder, foreshadows the challenges Yang will face as he adjusts to the methods of his new mentor. Nevertheless, the narration, "My heart is pounding. What magic will he perform this time?" shows Yang Jae Won growing to admire Baek Gang Hyeok.

Meanwhile, the large-scale, high-speed action sequences, including location shots, helicopter scenes, and car chases, add another layer of excitement, increasing the anticipation for this medical action K-drama.

Director Lee Do Yoon stated, "I wanted to incorporate all the emotions one can feel, with a comic-action hero theme. I tried to create a work that can make you laugh, cry, feel the thrill of action, that can evoke anger, and also make you reflect on the value of life."

The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call will premiere on January 24, only on Netflix. Watch the trailer here
