Who Is She is about a grandmother, Oh Mal Soon (Kim Hae Sook), who suddenly transforms into a 20-year-old, renames herself Oh Doo Ri (Jung Ji So), and enjoys a second chance at her golden days of youth.
The teaser begins with Oh Mal Soon (Kim Hae Sook) participating in a singing competition. Her passionate performance is accompanied by the exclamation, "What? Is being old a crime?"
Her singing skills, brimming with energy, elicit applause. However, the teaser takes an unexpected turn when Mal Soon, in her 70s, transforms into a 20-year-old, Oh Doo Ri (Jung Ji So). Next, the scene where Doo Ri asks, "Do I look like a grandmother or a young lady to you?", evokes laughter. Despite her young face and flexible movements, expected of a 20-year-old, Doo Ri's permed hairstyle, outdated fashion, and thick Chungcheong Province dialect tell she is a 70-year-old in mannerisms.
Meanwhile, Daniel Han (Jung Jin Young) gives Doo Ri, who has become a trainee under his agency, a shocking instruction, telling her, "Just live as the person I'm looking for."
The questions arise: Can Doo Ri survive among the young trainees? Will she achieve her long-cherished dream of debuting as a singer?
Soon after, Doo Ri undergoes an eye-catching transformation, getting a new sophisticated hairstyle and wardrobe makeover. On stage, she performs with a commanding charisma, but off stage, she reverts to her original self.
The way she says, "Call me Doo Ri. Oh Doo Ri," suggests that Oh Mal Soon intends to make the most of this opportunity that has returned her to youth.
